Reading List (LinkedIn) Import
LinkedIn recently discontinued their application program which included the Reading List app by Amazon. If you were a LinkedIn member who had installed the Reading List application you can import your books to Shelfari. Shelfari is an Amazon-owned site that helps you keep track of the books you've read and are reading, discover new books and interact with other readers.
You can import your Reading List books and reviews directly to Shelfari at http://www.shelfari.com/addbooks. You can sign in using your Amazon account or your existing Shelfari account. You can also access this page by clicking "Import Books" from the Your Shelf drop-down on the home page.
On the import page you'll see the option to Import LinkedIn Reading List. Click the "import" button and then verify your LinkedIn account to link to your Reading List information. After this you will see a list of all your Reading List books, defaulted to import all. When you're ready to import click the "Import Selection" button. Your reviews will automatically be imported for the books you select.
Once you've imported your books you can view them from your home page. You can also access your full bookshelf by clicking "Your Shelf" from the home page or "My Shelf" from the green Profile tab. You can add or edit information about your books by clicking the green EDIT button that appears below each cover (you'll see the ADD button when a book is not on your shelf). The EDIT button opens a pop-up that lets you add/edit reviews, change reading status, share on Facebook or Twitter, add tags & more.
