I thought that this was a wonderfully written book with the relationships jumping off the page. Although seemingly Bella couldn't cope without her relationship with Edward, I think that every teenage girl has felt this type of angst at some point or another.
The main attraction for me is the intensity of al the relationships whether it be between Edward & Bella, Bella & Jacob, Bella & Charlie or the complex Culens. Once this is combined with the emotional turmoils brought on be the emergence of Jacob's alter ego and the threat of the Volturi leaves us with an amazing almost cliffhanger and wanting more... Eclipse her I come :)

I have to admit that I only wanted to read this book because I saw an article in a magazine about the film, and loving all things vampire, I thought the film sounded good, but I hate to see films before I've read the book... so off to teenage fiction I went!! I have to admit that I was very happily surprised. If you pardon the pun I absolutely devoured this book. I loved the differences and depth of characters, the Cullen clan were intriguing and the relationship between Bella and Edward, no matter how 'doe-eyed' it may have appeared was wonderful. I loved it so much I keep wittering on about it to my family and I am driving them crazy... NEW MOON NEXT ;)

I did enjoy this, although i thought Labyrinth was better. I felt as though there was quite a lot of effort going into making the Tarot really significant, even though the extensive detail wasnt totally necessary, i would recommend this, but would say to read Labyrinth too :)

This was a typical Jodi Picoult book. It had everything you could expect.... complex storylines told from multiple perspectives, deep emotional issues and a few twists (occasionally slightly predictable). The main fault with it was that a couple of the characters werent as explored as they could have been, especially Maggie, who I liked a lot, but was lacking in some respect. The story focuses mainly on religion, which is great as it is a moving and opinionated subject area, but if you have no interest in it (religion) then this is probably not the book for you.
