“Thanks to Shelfari, I was able to meet this author and got a nudge to read the book. Thank goodness or it might never have made it into my “to be read” pile. Once I started I couldn’t stop. Now I’m waiting for more!
Finding Veronica was a great book that grabbed my attention from the beginning. It was a quick exciting read that left me wanting more by the time I was halfway through. Knowing that it wasn’t a series I wanted to savor the book, but I was so anxious to find out what happened next that I could only stretch it out for 4 days.
The story centers around 2 sisters and a niece who travel to a small town to attend their uncle’s funeral. They leave their lives and end up finding just what they need to complete their happiness in the small town along with some extras that will have you laughing and crying.
The only complaint I had - and it is just a personal preference - is that there was an unnecessary amount of cussing. Also, this book is definitely an adults only… the sex scenes were definitely explicit.
I do look forward to reading more from this author!
