Yes! Ian is the one I am most excited about, from the possibilities so far. I heard Alexander Skarsgard is also thinking about it... I think the rest I heard were just rumors, Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, etc... I saw an interview with Ian though, and he said he was definitely interested in it, he was reading the books... :-)
Yay! I can't wait to hear what you think! I have been seeing articles going around about possible castings for the movie... Let me know when you get into the second book, I will send you special outtakes from 50's point of view, from when it was a fanfic...
Yes! Definitely a MUST READ!! One of my favorites.... If you read, please, please, let me know what you think... I have some special "outtakes" from the author I can send you too. This story started as a fanfic, which was how I originally read it... It is a totally different story... It is really amazing. I absolutely recommend it!
I agree on your points about Mockingjay. It has been a while since I read it, but I know it felt rushed and so much happened that shouldn't have and yet so much other stuff was left unresolved. Right now, I am trying to catch up on the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, I know you already have the newest, latest one to read? I am almost finished with Lover Enshrined, Phury's book. I started the "Women of the Otherworld" series. I only read the first book, so I may read the second one next... I also have two novellas for the House of Night series to read.. So I may read something else before jumping to the next BDB book. How about you? Other than the new BDB book, or after that?
I know.. I was really not happy with Mockingjay.. I am glad she ended up with Peeta and I liked how she did the very end.. but overall, I didn't like the whole book.. I felt a lot was rushed through, especially with everything that happened on the way to Snow... and then Prim dying.. and the way things were left with Gale, it made it seem like Katniss was settling for Peeta.. not choosing him because she loved him.. But I can go on and on about what was lacking in Mockingjay... Did you like the movie?
I did! I saw it Friday night too. I thought it was very true to the book. I really liked it, I cried when Rue died... How about you? What did you think of the movie? Good luck with Mockingjay.. I am sure you will feel one way or the other about it, make sure you let me know what you think...
I know... My brother got me the first and second book a year ago.. for my birthday... And I remember reading the back of the book for the summary of it... and giving him the "raised eyebrow"... But he insisted that I would like it.. and I really did... You will have to tell me what you think as you read them! Especially Mockingjay... I have strong thoughts on that one... You will have to tell me what you think, when you finish it.. so I can share my thoughts too!
