Sadie is a sophomore in high-school. Her family moves and she is forced to go to a new school. She wants something to be unique and interesting about her, so she makes up a peanut allergy. Sure, it gets her a few friends and maybe a boyfriend along the way, but in the end Sadie learns that one white lie can get you into a lot more trouble than you think. Paul Hoppe got me caught in this book. I'm usually a very slow reader but I whipped through this book in one day. Peanut is a graphic novel great for middle schoolers both boys and girls. I loved this book and its perfect if you are looking for a quick fun read.

Summer and Bird are sisters living in their little cottage with their mom and dad in the middle of nowhere. Out of the blue the girls' parents disappear. Their mom leaves a letter made out of drawings that forces the sisters to decode what it is saying. They decide to go into the woods in search of their parents. Along the way the sisters get separated and have to fend for themselves, until they meet some friends of their own... Katherine C.'s writing if for a more mature audience. I know for me I found the book to be kinda confusing at times and hard to follow. If you are planning on reading this book make sure that you have a good attention span. I thought this book had an amazing story line, but I just don't think it was exactly right for me. Overall, if you are looking for a whimsical, imaginative book, this would be the perfect read for you.

There are 13 in all. Ginny travels all over the world in hope of completing the tasks given by the envelopes. Maureen Johnson does a great job of describing all the places Ginny goes. So well, that you feel as if you are there. I thought this book was good. I recommend it for girls aged 10-13.

Maile Meloy does a great job at making "real" characters. This book has mystical aspects to it, but she does a great job at making it all seem completely normal and non-fiction. I really loved this book. I recommend it for both boys and girls aged 11-14.

So Nicholas starts looking for it too, attempting to beat the staff. This book is great. It is very unpredictable. Trenton Lee Stewart writes really good page turners, and this book is one of them. The suspense is great. I recommend this book for boys and girls grades 5-8.
