Hi, thanks for letting me know a little about the book "Black" that I posted a question on. No, christian themes don't scare either, I have just never read anything in that genre, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

Harvery, sorry I made a mistake. The second book in the Chronicles of Brothers is called Messiah: The First Judgement. I saw the correct title on Paulette's shelf!!

Harvey, I have not read The Deliverer as this is the second book in the Reluctant Demon Diaries. Lucifer's Flood is the first one. There will be a third one released soon. So you will have to buy Lucifer's Flood first. I bought this one thinking it was a stand alone and then I go to the author's website and find out it is part of a trilogy!!!

The same goes for The Fall of Lucifer (Chronicles of Brothers). The second book is The First Judgement. And there will be a third which Alec is working on now. I plan to get both these third books and then have a feast reading them one after the other!! Way to go!!

Harvey, when you read Omega Conspiracy: Satan's Last Assault on God's Kingdom, you will be given a good education on the connection between the Nephilim, UFO's, end time theology and what it happening today. Another very similar but slightly in more depth is Alien Encounters by Chuck Missler. I have many more for you to read in this genre if you want to also read non fiction concerning the Nephilim. I have not included them on my shelf as I love Christian fiction and the topic of Nephilim brings some strange comments and behaviour from Christians when you start talking about this topic. So I don't as they think you are some weirdo Christian and you are ignored from that point on!! Mainstream Christian denominations do not want or refuse to talk about this topic!! 'Tis a shame as it brings a deeper understanding on the fall of man, The Flood, and even God's character when you read some of the titles I have (good start for you with the two mentioned in this message!) on this genre/topic.

    Paulette says

Yeah, I guess it is more difficult for a guy to relate to Christ as a "bride" but, remember, in Christ we are neither male nor female; it is our spirit that is united to Him. So if that helps, in that sense we can all be his Bride without gender. It's what you feel in the depths of your heart--your love for Him that depicts your bridal love for Him, our Head and Husband of the Church.

I definitely will check out the book by Terri Blackstock. I have a few of her books and they are pretty good.

I am just the same way, I have a huge collection of books and now since I've got an iPhone, I'm making quite a collection of digital books as well. I always have to have a book with me in some form to read. I love to read, and I only read Christian related titles.

    God bless you, brother :)

Harve: Oh, if you are a romantic at heart...you will absolutely LOVE this allegory/novel about Christ and His Bride. It is the most beautiful portrayal of His deep yearning for us and how He has loved us with such an intense love from the beginning of time. It is my all-time favorite book that I will never part with. You know if you join PaperBackSwap you might be able to get it for free. (www.paperbackswap.com) I have gotten several really great books for free there!

I'm going to check our your bookshelf after I send this to you. Thanks for writing :)

Harvey, I knew you would like the North trio!! I will never get rid of this trio. I also felt it was more like fiction than non fiction!!! I read the account of the Nephilim from Ted Dekker. He states what I have discovered and have fiction books about!

I am also reading The Ends of the Earth. It is very good and Downs at his best. You are aware of the challenge he gives us at the end of the novel? We go to his website and vote on how the next bugman novel starts with based on The Ends of the Earth.

You will enjoy The Kingdom Wars. I wish there was a third book!

Start with The Age of the Antichrist, then read the sequel, Thunder in Paradise.

I am doing well, mate. Did you tell me if you had Skype, MSN Messenger or Facebook? I have all three so was wondering if you would like to add me to these and we could chat sometime?

Harvey, sorry mate, just did not want you to be disappointed reading these books out of order!!! Am glad you can continue with the other books while you put Thunder In Paradise on hold until you get The Age of the Antichrist and read that first.

How are you enjoying Mission compromised? I just found them to be great and always on my favourite list. I would love North to continue this or start similar. And to think I nearly sent this trilogy back to the supplier after they arrived!!! (I could not afford them at the time, but the store manager, a friend of mine, allowed me to pay for them in 3 instalments).

Harvey, I have accepted your sister's request for Shelfari friendship. I pray she enjoys the books on the Nephilim. The one I am reading now, The Fathers of the Nephilim is very good but very different to the others, but does fit in with the theology of the Nephilim.

I envy you being able to go to the bookstore and order all those books. We are financially strapped at the moment and I am unable to buy any more. However, I have one more on pre-order that I will be completing then it is over for a while!! Not impressed with this but it will pass in time. Then I look forward to buying more again. I am just fortunate that I have so many waiting to be read to tide me over until then!!

    Thanks Harvey.

Harvey, you are committing the cardinal sin of reading!! LOL!! You are reading Thunder In Paradise, this is the sequel!! You have not read The Age of the Antichrist first!!!! Mate, you are spoiling it for yourself!! I see you have The Age of the Anitchrist in your I Plan To Read section.

Just joking mate, but i pray it does not spoil it for you! Look forward to talking to you again soon.

    Harvey,

Tell your sister to copy and paste this URL to her browser. This is a link to my shelf (you find this in account Settings and is used to give non members a look at your shelf).

http://www.shelfari.com/o1517282818. Cliick on the Shelf tab. Go underneath the Shelf to see Your Top Tags. Find Nephilim Related and up will come all my books on the Nephilim.

I suggest your sister start with the trilogy by L. A. Marzulli. First book is The Nephilim, then The Unholy Deception, then The Revealing. After this she can go to The Facade by Michael S Heiser then The Ahriman Gate by Thomas and Nita Horn. Then The Rapture Dialogues and The Nephilim Imperatives by Terry James. Then The Unvieiling by Dennis Gilmore. Then any of the others after this.

The ones that I have not read is The Great Harpazo Deception and invasion: Israel by Stephen M. Yulish. I have not bought Invasion: Israel but have The Great Harpazo Deception and will not read them until I have bought the other.

All these will give your sister a firm grounding in the theology of the Nephilim, Ufo's, aliens and what Marzulli terms the Great End Times Deception, that He believes (and the other authors) is to take place between and the second coming of Jesus.

She is in for a veritable feast with all these and the others on my Nephilim Related shelf. As long as she enjoys this genre of course!!

Also, Fireproof the book is the novelisation of the movie but it contains more content than what the movie portrayed. I read the book first as we did not get the movie in theatres here in Australia and had to wait for the DVD release. The book was released here first. I am glad it was that way as it was better to get the extra content and then have the movie viewed. Loved them both and so did my kids. I bought The Love Dare (leather look alike edition) and that is just great too. My daughters bought the soundtrack and love the music.

    Enjoy

Harvey, Just thought you should know that in relation to The Lights of Tenth Street, the two main characters are also in the previous book The Veritas Conflict by the same author. The same angels and demons are in both. Just be aware that in the first book the two main characters are younger here than in the second book where they are adults. They are both stand alone books and do not need to be read together if you don't want to.

I would suggest you also buy The Veritas Conflict, it is great!!

Is Fire Proof the book of the movie that just swept the theaters this past summer? About an affair in a marriage? I did not know it was a book and I tend to avoid movies. We don't even own a tv....

I see you have the same King James Commentary we bought last year! It really has been helpful in my Biblke studies.

Thanks for the note. Your shlef is great and has given me the push to move Oliver North up on my list. I wish the little Christian group was more active. Sometimes HUbby and I feel like we are talking to ourselves.

I read genres other than Christian to see what others are reading. Oh MY some of it I can't even finish! I have nephews and grandkids so I am reading some kids fiction to see what they are talking about. I am amazed at all the witchcraft and wicca that sneaks into kids books today.
