    അഗതാ ക്രിസ്റ്റി മലയാളം നോവല്‍സ് എവിടെ നിന്നെങ്കിലും കിട്ടാന്‍ വല്ല മാര്‍ഗ്ഗവുമുണ്ടോ?
    പലതും പണ്ട് ലൈബ്രറികളില്‍ നിന്നായി വായിച്ചതാണ്. എന്തെങ്കിലും അറിവുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ sreesobhin@gmail.com ലേയ്ക്ക് എഴുതാമോ?

    ഹാരിസ്
    കുറച്ചു നാളുകളായിട്ട് net use ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നില്ല , അതിനാലാണ് മറുപടി വൈകിയത്. ഹാരിസിന്റെ ബ്ലൊഗ് കണ്ടു വായിക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല . പിന്നീട് അതിനെ കുറിച്ചു എഴുതാം. The Kite Runner ഞാന്‍ വായിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, നമ്മുടേ പഴയ ബോളിവുഡ് സിനിമയിലെ പൊലെ ഒരു മെലോ ഡ്രമ പൊലെയുള്ളത്. കുട്ടി കഥ പറയുന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള അവതരണവും, 1990 കളിലെ അഫ്‌ഗാനിസ്ഥന്റ്റെ മികച്ച ഒരു ചിത്രവും ചരിത്രവും നോവല്‍ നല്‍കുന്നുണ്ട്.

    റിവ്യൂ ഒക്കെ നേരത്തെ വേറൊരിടത്ത് എഴുതിയതായിരുന്നു .....!!!!!!
    അതെവിടെയാണ് . താങ്കളുടെ റിവ്യൂ വായിക്കാന്‍ താത്പര്യമുണ്ട്.
    പിന്നെ വേറെ എന്തൊക്ക്ക്കെയുണ്ട് വിശേഷങ്ങള്‍ ?ഏതു പുസ്തകമാണ് വായിക്കൂന്നത്??

    ലന്തന്‍ബത്തേരിടെ റിവ്യൂ വായിച്ചു. ഉഗ്രന്‍ (കോരിത്തരിച്ചോ?) ഭാഷകൊണ്ടൂള്ള ഒരു അര്‍മാദിക്കല്‌
    മലയാള പുസ്തകങ്ങളുടെ റിവ്യൂ മലയാളത്തിലാക്കുന്നത് കൂടുതല്‍ നല്ലതെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. നന്നായി എഴുതാന്‍ കഴിയുന്ന ഹാരിസ് കൂടുതല്‍ റിവ്യൂ എഴുതുമെന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷയോടെ... ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ....

    പടം നന്നായിട്ടുണ്ട് !!!
    വായന നമ്മളെ അല്പ്പനേരമെങ്കിലും തലതിരിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു മനസ്സലായി. തലതിരിച്ച് ചിന്തിക്കുക, പൊളിച്ചടക്കുക . വായനയുടെ മാസ്മരികലോകത്തേക്ക് വിഹരിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ ഇത്തരം ദുരിതം (ആനന്ദം ?) എത്ര സഹിക്കണം.

    ഞാന്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ വായിക്കുന്നത് Thich Nhat Hanh ന്റെ 'പഴയ പാത വെളുത്ത മേഘങ്ങള്‍' എന്ന പുസ്തകമാണ്, ബുദ്ധന്റെ ജീവിത കഥ സരളമായും ലാവണ്യപരമായ ഭാഷയില്‍ പറയുന്നു. നാലു ഭാഗങ്ങളുള്ള (പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ ?) തില്‍ ആദ്യത്തേതിനു മാത്രമാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ മലയാളത്തില്‍ വിവര്‍ത്തനം വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്, പരിഭാഷ കൊള്ളാം. വിയറ്റനാമിലെ സെന്‍ ബുദ്ധിസ്റ്റ് ഗുരുവാണ് നാച്ച്‌ ഹാന്‍ , ഇന്ന് ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതില്‍ പ്രശസ്തനായ അത്മീയ ഗുരുവായും സമാധാന വാദിയായുമാണ് അദ്ദേഹം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത് . പിന്നെ ലൈബ്രറിയില്‍ നിന്നും s ജോസഫിന്റെ രണ്ടു കവിത സമാഹാരവും (വളരെ ചെറിയത് ) എടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട് , കവിത വായന വളരെ കുറവാണ്, ഒരു സുഹൃത്തിന്റെ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരമാണ് പുസ്തകമെടുത്തത്

    ഇപ്പോള്‍ വായിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പുസ്തകമേതാണ് ? Paulo Coelho പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ എനിക്ക് ആകര്‍ഷകമായി തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ല, അധികമൊന്നും വായിച്ചിട്ടില്ല, alchemist ഒരു self improvement സഹായികളായ പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ category യില്‍ പെടുത്താമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു ഇതെന്റെ അഭിപ്രായമാണ്, അതിനാല്‍ തന്നെ അതില്‍ വല്ല കഴമ്പുമുണ്ടാവണമെന്നില്ല. Coelho യുടെ veronika decides to die ആണ് എനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട കൃതി.

    ചില മലയാള പുസ്തകങ്ങളുടെ cover page ഇല്ലാത്തത് നിര്‍ഭാഗ്യമാണ്, അതുകൊണ്ടു മാത്രം ചില പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ ഞാന്‍ add ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

    മലയാള പുസ്തകങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു പൊതു ശേഖരം ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ , നമുക്ക് സ്വന്തം shelf ലേക്ക് അതില്‍ നിന്നും add ചെയ്യാം, പുതിയ പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ create ചെയ്യുബോള്‍ കഴിവതും മുഴുവന്‍ വിശദാംശവും ചേര്‍ക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതു നന്നായിരിക്കും (പേരൊഴികെ ബാക്കിയൊന്നും edit ചെയ്യാന്‍ സാധിക്കില്ലെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു). കൂടാതെ എഴുത്തുകാരന്റെ പേരില്‍ tag ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കല്‍ എളുപ്പത്തില്‍ പുസ്തകം കണ്ടെത്താനുമാവും.

    ഞാന്‍ അടുത്തിടെ വായിച്ചതില്‍ ശ്രദ്ധേയമെന്നു തോന്നിയത് കെ അരവിന്ദാക്ഷന്റെ ജീവപര്യന്തവും കെ ദിലിപ് കുമാറിന്റെ ബുധസംക്രമവുമാണ് . മലയാളത്തിന്റെ പ്രശനമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നത് പുതിയ എഴുത്തുകാരെ അംഗീകരിക്കാനുള്ള മടിയാണ്.

    താങ്കളാണോ മലയാള പുസ്തകങ്ങള്‍ shelfari യില്‍ create ചെയ്തത് ? ബുക്കിന്റെ പേരും, എഴുത്തുകാരന്റെ പേരും വായിക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുന്നില്ല (cover page photo അല്ല ), UNICODE support ചെയ്യാത്തതു കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കും എന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. അത് complaint ചെയ്താല്‍ അവര്‍ ശരിയാക്കുമെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ തത്കാലം english ല്‍ കൊടുക്കുന്നതായിരിക്കും നല്ലതെന്നു തോന്നുന്നു.
