Pregnant and alone, Jana turns to her best friend, Sam. He helps her find a place, gives her a job, and safety but she wants more from him. He is super afraid of relationships, always ends them before they get serious. But with Jana it is different. She is a friend first and his feelings for her are beginning to get to be to much but he just can't ignore them.

Good read that delves into deep emotions.

Book 3 in The Brides of Fortune series

Once again, a winner for Nicola. She is a must buy author of mine for a very good reason.

To save her friend from a loveless marriage, Lady Elizabeth kidnaps Nathaniel. He is not happy to say the least. Things quickly heat up and go beyond what either was expecting. A perfect conclusion to this highly desirable series which is on my keeper shelf to never be given away. I will want to re-read this often.

    The Scandals of An Innocent

    by Nicola Cornick
    • Rated 0 stars

Second book in the The Bride's of Fortune series.

Umm, what can I say, Nicola Cornick had another winner here definitely doesn't stress enough how good her books are. I love this series and Alice's story is wonderfully entertaining.

Alice cannot believe she is being blackmailed into marriage but it won't be that simple for her blackmailer, Lord Miles. For him to gain her fortune upon marriage certain terms have to be met according to the terms written into her inheritence. There is no way the decietful man can be totally honest for 3 months. However, jumping through the hoops to satisfy her lawyers teaches them both that they are perfect for each other.

    READ THIS SERIES!!!!!! LOL

  • The Rake's Inherited Courtesan

Christopher Everndon is not upset at the death of his Uncle until he learns of his inheritance. It seems the old man left him his "ward" Sylvia. What kind of man has his mistress set up as his ward. Disgusting. He can't wait to see the last of her. However, there is something rather vulnerable about her and he can't quite leave her in the dust like he thought he would. Sylvia on the other hand can't believe her friend and protector has put her in such a dreadful situation.

It was fun reading how this couple found the answers to their many questions and untangled themselves from the mess they are in.
