    HH,
I don’t know if you have ever read Susan Elizabeth Phillips? Her Chicago Stars series is terrific 1): IT HAD TO BE YOU; 2): HEAVEN, TEXAS; 3): NOBODY'S BABY BUT MINE; 4): DREAM A LITTLE DREAM are the first four in that series and all four are great. I am on the hunt for Phillips’ GLITTER GIRL! Also, I see on your shelf Diane Gaston is listed as one of your favorite authors; but did you know her pseudonym is Diane Perkins? And Perkins’ IMPROPER WIFE is terrific. Good luck and I hope you find some reading treasures at your local library sale.

    Hi HH!

Thank you for listing several of my books! As for suggestions, another HH you might want to look for is Kathryn Albright's THE ANGEL AND THE OUTLAW. I read it and put it on my Shelf recently. Lovely story!

    Hi HH,

You have a terrific collection of Harlequin and other historicals. A few I'd suggest you might look for are Lynna Banning's PLUM CREEK BRIDE, Gayle Wilson's HIS SECRET DUCHESS, Katy Cooper's PRINCE OF HEARTS, Cheryl St. John's JOE'S WIFE, Julianne MacLean's ADAM'S PROMISE and PRAIRIE BRIDE or any of her titles for Avon, especially TO MARRY A DUKE. Anything by Cheryl Reavis. Hope you can find some of those books and will enjoy them as much as I did. I'm honored that you included all my books and numbers some of them among your favorites. I've got some sticky notes, magnets and pens and I'd love to send you a little package of those if you'd care to let me know your mailing address. You can send it to hrwdebhale @ aol.com.

Happy book shopping and have a great Memorial Day weekend!

I was going to offer some authors, but it looks like everyone else beat me too it. All the authors suggested so far are great. Hmmmm, how about Susan Wiggs, Elizabeth Boyle, and Victoria Alexander.

Hi there! It really depends on what type of romance novel you like. Elizabeth Hoyt, Lucy Monroe, Sylvia Day, Lynsay Sands, Karen Marie Moning, Diana Holquist, Thea Devine, Gena Showalter, Lori Foster, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kerrelyn Sparks, Sheridon Smythe, Jennifer Ashley, Sabrina Jeffries, Emma Holly, Katie MacAlister, I could go on and on. Hope this helps!

Ok HH, I will look over my revered book notes and get back to you on some of my treasured favorites. Until then, please check my top 10 list – these are my all time favorites. How wonderful to hear you also go to your annual library sale! Our library holds one every spring and they let some really terrific books go for 5 and 10 cents, bargain city! LOL – how well I remember my first time at the library sale . . . it was an early Saturday morning, and I innocently went looking for 'a' book. Good heavens, when we arrived, we were greeted by a stretched line filled with eager women clutching empty laundry baskets. My dear husband took one look and remained in our vehicle – with a ‘catch you on the flip side’ attitude. Needless to say, I was better prepared the following year . . ! Have fun and good luck with your shopping . . . MaryGrace.
