Reading is my favourite passion. I love being spell bound in the magical worlds of words created by writers to portray their ideas and emotions.

Am glad to hear about your thesis is coming to shape. Sometimes, it IS tough to make good sentences. We are not native speakers of the language, you see...
You must see me composing mails these days. I will easy put a jumble to shame.
I have added Gandhi's Experiment with Truth to my shelf just now. Thank you.
Shelfari will be a splendid bookmark to remind me to catch up on books which i cannot read now.
My blogspot too is empty ever since i created it. I posted a couple o' times but ripped them away because they did not read well the next day.
    Good luck. Be happy.

    hi!
nice to hear from you after a long time. how are you?
glad to hear that you have resolved to become digital but then, old habits die hard, don't they? and good ol' habits better don't die at all. so, don't whip yourself for making those entries in a diary.
btw, i have deactivated my facebook account.
    but i'll be back :)
    see ya around.
    peace.

    Hi Happyram,

You left me a note regarding the book 'Bowani Junction'. While I enjoyed the book, I find Masters to be a bit long winded at times ( I have read one other book by him). It seemed like the book could have been shorter and still had the same effect. While I don't know a whole lot about the issues between India and the British, it didn't seem like Masters painted the British in any better light than he did India. He also writes the book from the perspective of the major characters. If I knew the history of the relationship between India and England better I could give you a better idea about the book. I would be interested in what you think of the book, especially since you, from your profile, are from India. Peace. Tim

    halo Anjana!
that's true!. we do have two books in common. i liked your shelf even while i was wondering what a random collection of genre it was.
however, there are many books which i have read and liked and cannot remember so i can add them to my shelf.
in time, i hope to fill it with the worthy ones.
you might want to read the book titled 'Fish! Tales'. It's a quick and nice read.
    cheers!
