you and hynes cannot be contained. i wished i lived the aloof lifestyle that allowed me to read 11 books in simultaneoum. It's hard keeping even my ambitions tight on the heels of your rapidity.

In due time. I really like Pastoral, pretty wrenching. Especially when the Swede vomits all over his daughters mug.

Why do I feel like Orson Scott Card wasn't going for an allegory of college life when he wrote Ender's game? And I literally have no idea what it is about... Are you the mother country by the way? Can you hang out soon?

ender's game and speaker for the dead are great, i started reading some other book in the series but the allure of the premise in the first two books was gone (ender's exile or something). anyways, definitely ender's game reed, its a front runner, trail blazer or whatever you call 'em.

Yunno, this Shelfari club is made up of a bunch of hoity toity, pontificating A-holes. I was gonna ask you your oppinion about the Enderverse books...but just for that snide little aside...now I'm just gonna swear at you. You're an A-hole. How is Enderverse? Sheridan said it was good, if I remember correctly.

to be fair, i read grendel in 10th grade and that was the impression i walked away with then. i read 1984 wacked out in a series of european airports, finished it in a hostel in budapest by myself, so the whole process of enjoying it was skewed. and i dont think i ever finished the killing joke, so maybe that needs to be re-evaluated
