Im so sorry about getting back to you late, im not on very often,.
but of course my first thought would be twilight even though i just the 3rd book - late start - but So B. It is great story. its sad and in many ways a love story but nothing like twilight. umm as far as ive read the true colors seris - dark blue and deep green - are sad love storys about friendship and relationships, they are also religious. thats all from off the top of my head but ill skim through my books and get back to you.

That picture is really old actually. That was taken at the end of the 7th grade and I'm in 10th grade now, so it was sort of a while ago even though I kind of look the same but my hair isn't that long. I don't even know why I was making that face haha. Hope you find the book. talk to you later bye

yeah The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a really good book, so you should check it out. And I am your friend and you asked me you said that you loved to read, that this was for school and my shelf seemed exciting. haha

hmmm sad huh. i dont know too much about love stories, but i would reccommend anything by Nicholas Sparks, they are all love stories and have that sad element you're looking for =)

It might not be your type of book but I would suggest reading Jemima J by Jane Green, it's not really sad but it's a love story with a twist at the end.

    You might wanna try these:

    Ghost Boy by Ian Lawrence

Seven Deadly Sins series by Robin Wasserman

Naughts & Crosses series by Malorie Blackman

    Uglies saga by Scott Westerfeld

The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory

Children of the River by Linda Crew

Alex Rider series by Anthony Horowitz

The Vampire Diaires by L.J. Smith

hey. well im in the 10th grade now, but oh well. i wrote that kind of a while ago. anyway, yeah i guess my shelf is pretty exciting haha. i was gonna suggest all of the Twilight books but it says you plan to read breaking dawn, so I figure you've read all the other ones. The Perks of Being A Wallflower is really good one but sort of mature you could say. It's about a high school kid who sort of learns about life after being thrown into the world of sex, drugs and music and stuff but it's actually really good. White Oleander is a really good one, especially for girls I think, and its about a girl whos mom is convicted of murder and has to go to different foster homes each one with danger or different struggles. Those last two books I guess are sort of mature and have some heavy stuff in them- but they're great. Give A Boy A Gun (geez I feel like I'm recommending all semi-depressing books haha) is about these two boys who plan a school shooting, it's told through interview form but its actually really good. Tuesdays With Morrie, is sad but a great book. The Five People You Meet In Heaven is also a really great book, makes you think. There is an author, Sarah Dessen, who writes a lot of good books for girls. I haven't read any of them but a lot of girls I know read books by her so maybe you wanna check those out.

Okay those are just some suggestions. Let me know if you read any. Hope I could help!
