I’m an introvert and an extrovert on the side. I dig novels a lot and I can be practically seen reading a novel or two on my free time. When I start a certain book, I don’t usually want to finish it right away, I like some kind of thrill while reading. I even read every night or every other night during weekdays. I usually end up sleeping at 1:00 AM during weekdays. On week ends I can stay up as late as 4:00 AM just reading. I frequently read Haruki Murakami, Jostein Gaarder, Paulo Coelho, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, some Ian McEwan, Nicholas Sparks and JK Rowling.
I also love Japanese anime a lot and manga. I’d really love to collect manga but it’s expensive but maybe someday. For now, I’ll just have to settle with manga scans and anime. Some of my favorites are: Rurouni Kenshin,Special A,Blood +,Fushigi Yuugi, Inu Yasha, Fruits Basket, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicles, Slam Dunk, Yamato Nadeshiko, Bleach, Naruto among others.
Other than these, I’m a die hard fan of Korean, Japanese and some Taiwanese television series. I really couldn’t get over the craze of My Girl, Lovers in Paris, Princess Hours, Only You and Save the Last Dance and many more. For the most part Koreans, Japanese and Taiwanese are creatively gifted from their absolutely original materials. I like their music as well; soundtracks of the series. I really make an effort to buy the soundtracks. I may not understand the songs actually but like they say music is a universal language.
On one side,I'm also a sports minded person. I’ve started playing badminton when I was in high school and was a member of the varsity team. And I extremely enjoyed playing table tennis in college P.E. and still am until now. I do play badminton sometimes with a friend or some former office mate. This has nothing to do with sports but I’m also kind of weird. I go to the movies and go malling alone sometimes when I can’t get someone to accompany me.
I like taking other people’s photos. And I’d love to go to places like Italy, France, England, Japan and Korea. My secret frustration is to learn how to play a violin. My ultimate dreamboat is Takeshi Kaneshiro, he’s absolutely heavenly. The others are James McAvoy, Joo Ji Hoon, Daniel Radcliffe, Lee Dong Wook, Kang Dong Won, Won Bin. Robert Woods, Orlando Bloom, Chris Evans, Daniel Henney, Dave Annable, Oguri Shun, Wu Chun and Heath Ledger. I also love anime characters especially Haji from Blood +;Kei from Special A;Kenshin from Samurai X;Tamahome from Fushigi Yuugi; Kyohei from Yamato Nadeshiko, I really wish they were true.
