I love all kinds of books; mystery, suspens, horror, romance, but right now I am really into paranormal stories. Vampires, werewolves, anything supernatural and if it's paranormal romance all the better.

I see that you've read Christina Dodd's Darkness Chosen series... Can you tell me if it matters what order I read them in? I have read "Scent of Darkness". I have "Touch" and "Into the Shadow" on hold, but, HAVE "Into the Flame" already. Are there huge spoilers in "Flame"? I noticed the male character was introduced at the end of "Scent." Am I better off being patient and reading them in the order Shelfari has them listed?

    Hi Amy,

I see that you changed the order of Bump in the Night in the "in Death" series by J D. Robb and your shelf indicates that you have read it. I have "Dead of Night" featuring the same set of writers but the Robb story is "Eternity in Death." That makes me think these are not the same book printed under different titles. Can you reassure me?

Should I add "Dead of Night" to the series?

    Thanks,
    DL

Hi Amy, welcome to Play Book Tag! Our tag for October: England. If you want to get or make some recommendations, check out the thread October tag: reading plans and suggestions! Once you finish an England book, post a review on the thread October tag; our collective reads for our shelf. We will be announcing the new tag for November in a few short days so keep on the look out for that!

As an added incentive to read the monthly tag, we “raffle” off an Amazon gift card for every thousand posts we reach. One of the requirements to qualify though is you have to have read a book for the current months tag!

We also organize larger games every couple of months or so. We have just started a new game, Lay It On, so you will be seeing lots of discussion about it. Unfortunately, the game is already underway and we aren’t adding new players. If you are interested in the large games though, we will be starting a new one after the holiday season!

For answers to other commonly asked questions, please look over the FAQ for new members which is pinned to the top of our discussions. If you have any questions about PBT please don't hesitate to ask me!

    See you on PBT!

    Happy reading,
    Nicole

I have not had the pleasure of the seeing the musical, but I can tell you that the book will change your world completely. I have heard that the musical doesn't even touch on the hardcore politics of Oz and how her father neglected her. It was the first book I read by MaGuire, and he just has an absolutely eloquent way of talking about the most derogatory scene. You will LOVE the book.

I haven't really started Kim Harrison's series yet so I couldn't really tell you if her short stories play that well off of them. She is in my TBR pile but just haven't gotten to her yet (= But I'd definitely read Holidays Are Hell if you haven't already, it's how I found Vicki Pettersson.

Hi Amy, sorry it took so long to answer your question, I just saw your post. I enjoyed The Host. It was a bit slow in the beginning but it picks up and I really liked the story. But if you read it keep in mind that it's nothing like the Twilight series.
    Happy reading,
    Lori

Maybe having a stuff animal is a must for all people that carry a gun. Anita is the only one that I have heard about but you never know maybe the rest are all closet stuff animal holders.

I'm sitting here staring at my bookshelf going through my books to see if any of them might have the tinest inkling of them having a stuff animal and I'm sad to say I don't remember any. I'll have to pay attention better the next time I read through them.
