Rhonda Jackson-Joseph's debut novel had me up all night reading it. I couldn't put it down. The characters grabbed me from page one. I can't wait to see what's next from this author.

I absolutely loved this book. It had so many funny scenes, emotional scenes and HOT scenes. I've already re-read parts of it again. She wrote the hell out of this book.

The third installment to this dynamic trilogy lived up to all of my expectations. I can see this saga on the screen. The characters are so real and before you know it you get wrapped up in the drama of their lives. And Cinnamon... I just want to say, I want to be that chick when I grow up. LOL. I started calling her "Mack Momma" in the second installment, and with this one she is still doing her thing and running things. I really loved the trilogy.

Can I just say I loved this book. Paige Webb had me cracking up and turning the pages like crazy. I had to see how she was going to get herself out of the mess she kept digging herself deeper and deeper in to. And I loved that for once the person running from commitment is a woman. I wish someone would make this into a movie. I would love to see this on the big screen.

  • Caressed By Ice (The Psy-Changeling Series, Book 3)
    • Rated 5 stars

Amazing! I have to say I am enjoying this series. I found this installment to be just as engaging as the first two novels in the series. I love the way Judd battles with his conditioning and the pain of going against it to give Brenna what she needs. The writing is powerful and the world-building is outstanding! I can't wait for the next installment!

Excellent debut! I really enjoyed reading this novel. The author did an excellent job of pulling me into the lives of these characters. I love that she didn't let the heroine's past trauma stop her from fully appreciating a good man when she found him. And I loved the hero's determination to woo the woman he found he didn't want to live without. Their passion burned up the pages and almost singed my hands. This was a great read!

The critical essays from Butler and Delany included in this volume are worth the price of the book alone.

My book jacket quote for this book: Lorene Cary's beautifully crafted freedom stories fill in the silent spaces of our history with resounding clarity and truth. These stories are a must-read for everyone of us in the land of the free and home of the brave because they offer templates of hope and change for us all. Cary has given us a gift in these stories of vigilance, perseverance and courage--a gift that demands to be shared and shared again.

An interesting look at the intersections of race, sex and class; this is one of the first third-wave feminist books coming from a woman of color.

This book was so good and so-oo HOT! I loved the concept of a sci-fi writer needing to make her writing a little hotter and ending up meeting the love of her life. This book made me look at cross-country train trips in a whole new light... Excellent read!
