Ms. Bolton, I really enjoyed your Hightower series. From Protect and Service, Make it Hot, The Law of Desire down to Sizzling Seduction each story was so, so, so, so, good I wish that it didn't end. Boy did you shock me and anyone else reading Sizzling Seduction with regards to Aunt Sophie. I wouldn't of never believed it. With each series I cried, I hollared (glad I was at home alone because my children wouldn't understand especially with Sizzling Seduction),I felt the love that Jason felt for Penny. The love that both Joel and Samatha were fighting, and who could forget Lawerance stalking (lol) Minerva. I felt Patrick when he hit Aisha sorry excuse of an ex-husband. I just wish that Aisha mom had of showed up for the christening. I can't wait to read about Terrell and Martinza story. Thank you for a great read.

    Hey, Gwyneth,
I just finished my first hand-made book trailer for Meet Me in Paris. I used my Sims to act out the parts of my characters. Hard work, but they're so funny. You should check it out on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gpX19KM8jc or on my site at http://www.scribble-scribble.com/books/books.htm I plan to make more Sims movies, so I'd love to get feedback.

Hi, Gwyneth. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view. A story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. I’m including here the publisher's notes from Amazon.com. You can read samples at shelfari.com by entering the title. Let me know what you think. The honor would be mine.

    Book Description
Caleb, an elderly Jew, leaves the safety of his home in Cana on a mission to find a man he believes is in Jerusalem. Miriam, Caleb’s only remaining child, accompanies him disguised as a boy. In the desolation of the war struck Galilean countryside, father and daughter risk their lives to journey south on the Jordan River trail. As they walk, Caleb intrigues Miriam with a captivating story of his youth that will change her future destiny. A story of a time forty years prior when he became a sandal maker in order to observe a man some called the Miracle Worker. Caleb secretly kept notes of the events he saw and heard as he followed the crowds. With his objective, skeptical point of view, he reveals the fascinating ministry of the one he called the “Master.” Heart pounding perils and the threat of death endanger the two travelers, but nothing could foretell the fate awaiting them in Jerusalem!

    From the Publisher
    A. Michaelson's new novel, The Sandal Maker, takes the reader on a fascinating journey back to the year 70 A.D. in worn torn Palestine. The author creatively weaves two stories together, one in the present, the other in the past. Heartwarming, enlightening and tragic, The Sandal Maker paints a portrait of one man's life and his involvement in how the gospel came to be.

Hello, I loved Sizziling Seduction. Now, I can't wait for Terrell and Maritza's story. Also, do you think you may be writing about more Hightower family members? That Aunt Sopie is a piece of work.

No...I will definitely continue to share MHO with my buddies in our discussion group...because I so ENJOY talking with ALL of you...I guess I'm just tired of being "chastised" for expressing my views...I NEVER intentionally meant to be hurtful when I express my opinions...and I've NEVER purposely "dissed" or "bashed" an author...IMO I think I"m pretty fair when giving a reviews...I simply state what I like or dislike about the books I read...but apparently I've offended some...so I think I'll just limit my comments to the discussions we share...and leave the reviews to the professional reviewers...of course UNLESS the story is just too good...then I'll have to share a little blurb...LOL...Happy Reading & Writing :-)

    Hi Gwyneth,

I started reading your latest Hightower book yesterday and finished it today! I loved it. Aunt Sophie finally got hers and I was shocked at why she has been so evil to Celia. What a trifling heifer. (lol) I hated for this story to end! I would love to read more about this family in the future. Loved it! I read the incidents involving Aunt Sophie and Celia 3 times before I finished reading the rest of the book. I was laughing so hard that I was in tears! It was sad that Celia's controlling sorry behind Dad thought more of his daughter's abusive husband than his own daughter. That part made me mad as hell! Now I will re-read the other books again because I loved this series so much!

Maybe just a little bit...but then AGAIN...maybe if she hadn't spent all those years meddling and stirring up trouble...and came clean with her family...just like they found their true loves...perhaps...she could have found hers...or maybe if she GOT a life of her own...she might have found found that one person that would MAKE her WANT to come out of the closet...and she wouldn't be so miserable...but still I guess when you put it like that...I can muster up a little bit of sympathy for her..i.in this day and age it can still be difficult coming out...but she had such a loving family...I believe they would have accepted her choices and still love her.

Girl...you totally floored me with Aunt Sopie...BOY, OH, BOY...when I found out about her "secret crush"...girl that was TOO DEEP...and as sad as it is that she could NEVER act on the desires of her heart...I'm still struggling to feel even an ounce of sympathy for her...after EVERYTHING she did to her family...her brother and nephews who she claim to love so much...how could she say and do those MEAN and AWFUL things to the women they LOVE...I tell you, with a family member like her who needs enemies...but I guess it does shed plenty of light on her animosity towards Celia...but then again...how can she blame her...since Celia NEVER knew how she felt...that was quite an UNEXPECTED twist!
