Gracie

My name is Gracie C. McKeever and I'm a multi-published, cross-genre erotic romance author from the Bronx. Aside from several side trips along the way I've lived and worked my entire life in the New York City area (currently two train stops away from the famed house that Ruth built...Go Yankees!). I've been writing since the ripe old age of... more »

Hi Gracie, thanks for posting back. You know, I recently had the good fortune to win a contest and the whole set of Nightwalker books by Jacquelyn Frank. I have them on my shelf but haven't read them yet. I originally had book 1 but it dissappeared and I swear my cousin took it, only he insists he doesn't read those kinds of books. And then I had book 1 again and a friend of mine borrowed it, who borrowed it to someone else and to this day its still in circulation probably but I haven't seen it come my way. It kind of seemed like I was cursed not to read this series for a while with all that happening but thankfully my new set of books I just won came and I won't let these out of sight. Have a good one there! ~LV~

Gracie, how are you doing? Good I hope. I've been kinda busy here so forgive me for not posting/replying back as much as I should. So what have you been reading? Any recommendations for me? I'm reading The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox right now and its really good. I got done reading an ARC of Lori Handeland's Any Given Doomsday before this one and that is an excellent book. Doesn't hit shelves until November but its definitely worth checking out. You take care of yourself over there and I hope you'll write me again soon. ~LV~

Hey Gracie, thanks so much for the tips and tricks. I have thought about putting some of writings into a short story format, but I'm afraid to "waste" an idea that may have enough promise to be a much longer work of fiction. How do you decided whether somethings needs to be in one format or the other? Is there any checklist or something similar?

Hello there. Just wanted to say that I am very impressed with your reviews and writing. I am writing a few stories, trying to get them somewhere near the length that I would need for a book, but it is a daunting task. It is hard for me to imagine writing 10-15 books as it seems you have. I wish you the best and hopefully, I will join you in that author's circle one day soon. :)
