Bookstores are my candy stores. I can't walk past one without ducking in and buying a book. I love to read fiction and I have read enough of the so-called 'self-help' genre that I should be quite competent in all matters, thank you. I also enjoy regressing to YA fiction both to reminisce about life when someone else played the role of mommy as well as to indulge in a book that doesn't waste time getting to the point. (Why do we grown-ups insist on such nonsense?)

The baskets of books 'to be read' next to my nightstand are always full but the only person who really minds is my dear husband. Oh well, it is better than collecting lawn ornaments or doing crack. « less
