Ancient China is on the brink of war thanks to the political parties of the time: The Serpent and the Tortoise. The two together are symbols of longevity, but they have severed their ties and reached an impasse, now considering themselves to be the worst of enemies. Shé yībān, the Serpent General, is ready for change in China, wanting to toss tradition out the window and advance in everything, his ideologies creating the perfect storm for an expansion of the empire. Wūguī yībān, the Tortoise General, wants just the opposite, his ideologies calling for the protection of tradition and suppresion of advancement as a way to expand the empire. Though they used to be inseparable, they are now at each others throats, causing the empire itself to split down the middle, half siding with Wūguī yībān and the other siding with Shé yībān. So which holds more value to you? Tradition or Progression?
