Cloaked in shadows atop a large, unclimbed hill stands a semi-isolated town, one unheard of by most. But those who do know of the town know all about its mysterious reputation, for murder, mystery and mayhem define the eerie village known as Shadow Hills.
Here, the adults are just as odd as the children. Here, social norms are defied to the maximum, for a group of Gothic teenagers that would usually be outcasted and outlawed by today's society rule Shadow Hills High with an iron fist. Then again, they aren't just normal, are tney? There is nothing normal aout this group, for they are creatures of the night. They drain the blood of the innocent, their pointed fangs gistening sinisterly in low light.
Nocturna Entia.
Creatures of the Night.
Vampires.
Of course, only a few know about this, and those few are either vampires, half-vamps, slayers or some other supernatural being.
Oh yes, you heard correctly, this place is crawling with paranormal activity: Witches, Werewolves, Banshees, Zombies, Ghouls and Ghosts, all living among the humans in peace. Or so they were..
As more and more humans are becoming aware of the suspicious goings on around them, their third eyes are opening. An otherwise closed-minded society are changing their belifs. They may just knoow more than the Supernaturals believe they do.
This is why we have the Supernatural Council, a group of Supernatural beings living in the town who are to keep order and harmony for as long as realistically possible. These people have been elected by the Supernatural community. They are neither good nor evil, they are simply there, erasing memories and battling slayers.
And the Van Helsing of legeld? Real, very real, though his role in the slaying of Dracula has been glorified in fables and tales. Yes, Abraham Van Helsing was indeed very real. After the Count enslaved his darling wife, Magdelena, and turned her into a creature of the night, he struck the beast with a steak, seemingly killing him. But, like a phoenix from the ashes, Dracula has risen again, taking the form of a teenager named Adrian Alter. Luckily, as too has the slayer, though in the form of his great, great grandson, sir Edward Stone, best friend of the town's Mayor.
The Mayor is a strong believer in the Supernatural, as his own mother, Marianna, died at a Vampire's fang, her neck punctured in the night only to be found two days later in her home a rotting corpse, pale and lifeless, with two clear puncture marks in her neck.
The mayor is also aware that his granddaughter, Amelia, is a fledgeling, transormed by the reincarnation of Dracla himself. Because of this, she is kept under metaphorical lock and key, shut away from the world.
Dare you reside in this unheavenly town? Welcome to a living hell, also known as Shadow Hills. I do hope you will survive...
