I'm in love with this series. Seriously. As always, spoiler alert! If you haven't/still are reading this, I won't suggest checking this out.
For me, Divergent had a really slow beginning. And sure, it gave light to their world and how they lived, but I found it somewhat hard to get in to. I absolutely adored how Veronica Roth wrote Tris choosing Dauntless. The sizzling coals. That was really amazing.
Four? Yes, loved him very much. I CANNOT believe his name is Tobias. I did not like that at all TT_TT Seriously, he deserved a cooler name. Don't you? I really liked his character. Though his darker side really came out in Insurgent.
Moving onto Insurgent, I was really unhappy with it. True, it had some really good aspects. But it featured that predictable breakup/giant argument between the two main characters :( I hate when that happens. They fight through the whole book and then only SUDDENLY at the end, Four forgives her and they're all lovey dovey again. Seriously? I didn't take any of that.
And then the major cliffhanger at the end! OH MY GOD I WAS SO ANGRY. I liked where it was going, but seriously??? I cliff hanger as big as that is just sad :(
Oh, and Caleb...a traitor?! That saddened me! He was Tris' only family left, I cannot believe he just did that D: And Peter owing her. Yeesh! I was happy that she had another person on Tris' side, but I still don't TRUST TRUST him.
