  Walking through the dorrway i see another girl already on her bed. throwing my small duffel on the bed next to her i give an uncertain smile and whisper, "hi." my arms are crossed, ready for action should she threaten me. i'm always on guard and have been for 3 years.

    I move my mirror dresser over, so it's against the wall and facing my bed. I arrange some more of my furniture so it doesn't invade the other girls' space, but is still comfortable.
    I take out one of my suitcases and place it on my bed, taking out a miniature cauldron and placing it on the ground and in the corner of the room.
    Then wait for Alice to answer, before growing my cauldron and revealing to her my identity.

    i watch interestedly as isabella takes out all of her 'brewing stuff.' opening my bag i pull out some clothes, a picture, and a big bottle of water (the knives i left in my bag, hopefully i wouldn't need to use them here). this was all that i could grab before i had to go. stroking the picture i put it under my pillow. standing, i put the clothes in the small dresser and the bottle of water on the nightstand.

    coming back from the library i flop on my bed. i open my sketchbook to look at the finished product of the afternoon. it was a very good drawing of everyone sitting at the large table. isabella and john fighting over the plant, alice quiet in the corner..... normal. or at least as normal as a bunch of teenagers with weird powers can get.
