Zane-I walk to the plains looking for a watcher that I can train with.
(RP like this, please: Characters Name, then their actions. :))
I walk over to the girl. "I will help you."
*sry I thought I put it*Zane-I nod and pull out my sword.
(it's fine. Sorry.)
"Only weapons." I say. "No Magic or Powers."
Zane-"Got it." I get into the fighting stance I use with the sword and wait for the watcher to give me a signal to begin.
"Start!" I say. I charge her with my axe raised.
Zane-I raise my sword and move to the left avoiding the axe, then I turn and swing my sword towards the watcher's right leg.
I jump over it and bring my axe down towards him while in the air.
(pretend they dulled their ladies with magic before the fight)
(k)Zane-I raise my sword and hold it up as to block the axe.
I land and push onto his sword.
Zane-I push back harder.
I take my axe away and back flip, kicking his face.
(everything in my pack is dulled)Zane-I stumble back, and grab my throwing knives out of my pack in a flash. then throw three of them. two at his eyes and one at his chest.
I knock the two for my eyes away with my axe, and then grab the last ones hilt with my left hand.
Zane- I take my sword and swipe it at the arm with the knive
I stop the sword with the knife.
Zane-I backflipped away from the watcher and used my sword to shove his axe away, then raised my sword over his head.
I duck under the sword and kick his chest, while hitting his sword with my axe.
Zane-I fall onto my back and move to get up
I step on his stomach and sword arm. I put my axe on his chest.
Zane-Trying to move with the wieght of the axe I pull out one of my throwing knives and throw it at his face.
I duck and the knife flies pass. I step on his other arm and push the axe down a little.
Zane-I move my leg and kick his chest as hard as I could
I move away. "You are a very good warrior, never giving up. But, I'd you did this in a real fight, theyd probably kill you."
I nod. "Good job."
Zane-"Thank you." I gathered my things adn put them away
I watch him. He is a good warrior, I think to myself.
Zane-I thank the watcher and walk towards a spring in the feild to rinse off my face
The princess walked into the training plains. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail so that it wouldn't get as much in the way even though it still would. She carried two knifes with her. She scanned the area, looking for a watcher. She felt like training.
I approach the Princess and bow. "How may I help you, ma'am?"
She smiled. "I would like to train with my two knifes sir." She said kindly.
I nod. "I will use one dagger." I use magic to dull my blade.
She nodded and also dulled her blade. She backed up a little bit and got into a ready stance, waiting for the Watcher to start.
I slash at Stariana's chest.
She saw the movement of his arm very quickly. Taking a short step back, she missed it. Using the knife in her right hand she slashed at his shoulder, then with the other knife she did the same.
I knock the first one away, and then duck under the second one.
Before the watcher could hit again she aimed another attack at his chest and the other at his wrist. She carefuly, but quickly aimed.
I slash at both her wrists.
Slight pain seared on her left wrist as the dagger hit it. She quickly menuvered to the other side of the watcher and attempted to kick him after she slashed.
I dodge the kick, but the slash gets my upper arm.
She thought for a moment before she punched him, aiming for the face.
I duck under and slash at her stomach.
She just barely missed the slash but jumped back in time. Her wrist was stinging slightly but she ignored it. She slid behind him and held the knife to his neck. At least she tried.
I push my back against her and hit her knife with my dagger.
She growled slightly as she stumbled back. She held her knife to his dagger while the other knife zoomed for his shoulder.
I push her knife down with my dagger as I dodge the knife, but it still hits my shoulder.
She was now gasping for air, but did not give up. She looked at him carefuly. She ran at him, attempting to punch him again. She also stomped on his foot.
I bring my foot up, her foot still on it.
When he lifted his foot she fell back onto the ground. She jumped back up quickly, charging at him. She tried to slash his chest.
When she charged, I wasn't there. I approach her from behind and put my dagger on her back.
She felt the tip of the dagger on her back. Scooching a little bit forward she rolled and got back up, facing him. Her breathingw was hard. She met his eyes.
I look at her. Lightning fast, I slash at her neck, chest, stomach and theighs.
She quicklky jumped to the side as she saw him coming. The knife hit her theighs as she slid by. She limped slightly to the side. She charged at the Watcher, slashing his chest, shoulders and legs.
The knife gets my shoulder again. I stab at her stomach and then slash at her shins.
She narrowed her eyes and concentrated. Just as the knife was about to hit her she stepped to the side. She quickly jabbed both of her knifes at his stomach and heart.
I step back. I do the same maneuver as before. I expect her to move again, so I do the slash a little to the side.
She stepped to the other side this time. She slashed at the watcher
I whack the knife aside and back handspring.
She backed up and took a breath. She was tired. She readied her knife again.
I look at her, I charge her and then curve at the last second, holding my dagger out.
She ducked under the knife and shot her leg out, trying to trip him.
I jump over her leg and land. I slash at her again.
She jumped back and thunked him on the head with her knife. She hit his head with the handle.
I dodge the handle one and kick her stomach.
She got the wind knocked out of her, she stumbled back. She stood there for a moment. It took a minute for her to catch her breath.
"Enough training for now." She said. "Thank you."
I nod. "Great job, Princess. I just have a few pieces of advice. When you get tired, you start to do random moves. You need to keep your mind steady even when you're tired."
"Thank you." She bowed and walked away.
RyderI fight a dummy with a sword
Zane-While walking to the spring I see someone fighing a dummy with a sword. I pull mine out and wash it in the spring.
RyderI spin around when I sense someone behind me but it's just someone washing off his sword.
zane-I see someone watching me.
*Sorry, mean to say Ryder. Got my charries mixed up*Ryder"Hello," I say.
GwendolynI walked into the fields, holding my sword at my side. I didn't feel like fighting today so I walked to the edge of the field, my red curls tucked behind my ear. I quickly scaled a nearby tree, sitting on the branch with one arm dangling.
IstalriI raise my blade, whirling it above my head. I then brought it down to another elf's shield, splitting it in half. In answer to that he jumped back. A quick swing at my shoulder was parried and then we started circling each other. I let my hand appear to lose it's grip, knowing how the other elf would react. Sure enough, he took a swing. A duck and some fancy footwork later he wound up on the ground, his sword several paces away. My sword was at his throat. I held it there for a moment before stepping back. "Next?" I asked as the other elf walked away to nurse his injured pride.
"Excuse me, but you are only soposed to practice with weapons on watchers, dummies, or something we can make for you to fight. Shall I help you train?"
(you can train against each other...)
"Dummies don't fight back. And if you don't kill anyone, why can't we fight?" asked Istalri. "I don't fight like a barbarian, so why can't I?"
"Well, as long as you don't end up killing that person and they are okay with it, you may fight them. Just make sure to dull your weapons first."
"Ok you are fine continue."
IstalriI nod and start to wander around, looking for a dueling partner.
I approach Istalri. "Would you like to spar?"
IstalriI nodded. "It gets boring when you have no new fodder." I said jokingly.
I look at her. I take out a mace and get ready.
IstalriI look at the mace, then drew my own sword, making sure its edges were dulled. The spell wore off quickly so I had to be careful. Thankfully the spell was still intact. I then assumed an ready position, waiting for the first move to be made.
I wait, and hen suddenly charge.
IstalriI watch him carefully but was still surprised when he started moving. I blinked, then started running towards him, at the last possible moment running slightly to his left. I turned around quickly to see if he had noticed.
I am staring at her. I had turned with her.
IstalriThis time I was the one to move first. Raising my sword I ran forward, swinging as I neared the watcher, hoping that the blow would land.
I slam my mace against her sword.
IstalriI watched the mace. It was fairly strong. I tried swinging my sword to the Watcher's right side, then feinting towards the left.
I just barely block the sword. Then I swing at her legs.
IstalriI jumped above the mace, barely clearing it. A small spike managed to graze my boot but that didn't matter. Another swing of my sword did. I swung to the left, trying to hit his hand where the mace was held.
I was already swinging at her sword arm.
IstalriI moved my arm slightly out of the way. I then swung my sword downwards, intending to cut the chain to the mace. I used almost the same excuse every time I broke something. It could be repaired.
She stood at the side out of their reach with her arms folded. She watched Isalri with interest.
IstalriI glanced back. Someone was watching of that I was sure. I smiled towards the princess, about to wave before I realized that I was still fighting. Turning my head back I kept on task, trying to destroy the mace.
I flip backwards and then slice with the mace.
IstalriAt that moment I swung upwards, my sword grating against the mace's hard metal. Another blow to it would cut the chain and reduce the mace to a club.
I make sure she can't hit the chain again. I do a series of lightning fast stabs, slices and cuts, all in a few seconds.
IstalriI dodged and parried almost at the same time, trying and almost failing to keep pace with the Watcher.
I do another series, getting closer, and backing out when done.
IstalriI dodged again but at the last blow the mace managed to hit my hand. Luckily it wasn't the hand I was holding the sword with, but it might prevent sword hand transferring if my right hand got hurt. I then stabbed at the Watcher's chest.
I move back in enough time and aim for his sword hand a few, quick times.
(Her)IstalriI moved back quickly each time then swung after each time, trying to catch the Watcher between blows to disarm him.
(Same thing :p)
I continue for her sword hand, moving around a lot and using different move.
IstalriHe was changing tactics, that I could see. Different moves and strategies, and I had to avoid them. Fun! I had realized by now that he was going for my sword hand.
I start to aim for her legs, and then suddenly make quick moves at her sword hand.
IstalriDodging the supposed blows I then realized if I could hit his hand as well, the battle would end. Starting a fancy footwork I started swinging at his hands, both of them as not to rise too much suspicion.
I dodge her. Then I aim for all body parts, my attacks most vicious at her sword hand.
IstalriDucking and weaving I started a ferious counterattack, still focusing on his hands. All the while I used the sword's sheathe as often as the sword to block blows.
I am a blur as I move with lightning fast blows. I aim for her head.
IstalriMy eyes widened and I ducked as the maced soared above my head, whistling as it went. Then I realized the chain was open and one blow would cut it. I raised my sword and brought it down with all my strength.
I rbing the mace towards her open stomach.
IstalriMy sword meet the mace, a metallic clang resounding through the air. I bared my teeth and shoved, trying to throw the Watcher off ballance. At the last second I swung at the mace's handle, not his hand or the chain. Jarring the handle would have to work.
The mace falls to the ground.
IstalriI hold my sword up to the Watcher's throat. "Dead." I rasped, my voice not used to being used all of a sudden. I let my arm drift back down to my side, along with the sword.
I bow my head. "Good job."
IstalriI nod. "Thanks."
"Don't always think you know what I will do next, though." I walk away.
IstalriI looked after him. He had been right, I did seem to sometimes have a certain arrogance that even I had to admit showed.
TjIs dueling two trainers and not even breaking a sweat. He looks up as a person walks towards him *Anyone?*
IstalriI look up. "You appear to be up to standards. Want to fight?" I asked, smiling deviously. "I bet it either ends in a tie or I win."
TjI agree to fight you" i smile deviously drawing my sword "Alright lets go" i leap swinging down with my sword
IstalriI smile and drew my sword, a two hands electric blue blades with razor sharp edges, dulled only by certain protective spells that I had cast before. I dodged nimbly, parrying the blow.
TjThe blades crash together and i back away "How much you bet that i lose now" i say pointing to my bag stuffed with gold coins i leap back fore wark slamming my elbow into her? back and then slamming my sheild into her swords
*Yes, Istalri's a her. *IstalriI managed to dodge his elbow but the shield rammed into my sword, sending me skipping back a pace to keep from losing my balance. I then counterattacked with a swing hard enough to shatter the shield on contact, It could be repaired later.
TjI trip her and do another back flip slamming my sword into her back she stumbles "Give up yet" i ask jeez i was tiredi rush foreward and slash again
IstalriAs I hit the ground I turned the impact into a roll, absorbing most of the momentum. "If I gave up I'd be dead in a real fight." I said, blocking his sword. In that moment I shoved, trying to knock him off balance.
TjOff balance but i quickly rgain it I hook my sword under hers and then disarm oher i stop and look down at the blade "I've seen that blade before." i say and pick it up
Istalri"And where would that be?" I asked, quickly feeling the base of my spine until I reached my shoulders. Nothing was damaged that wasn't repairable, though I did have a long and shallow cut running down the length of my back. "I haven't shown this blade to many people."
(its what Eragon said)
Tj"I don't know/"
Istalri"If so, may I have it back? It's rather rare and I just replaced the wards on it. I'd prefer not to use them up too quickly, it helps to have a sword in good shape." I said, gramacing as I healed the cut on my back. It was always difficult to ignore how strength diissipated whenever I healed something.
TjI hand her the sword and smile "Pay up you lost"
Istalri"I admit- you win. That's my payment. Coins mean nothing to me. just be glad you can defeat me. Not many can." I said, sheathing my sword.
Tj"Hmm" i pick up my armor and jog off the field
IstalriI laugh and left the training field, satisfied with what had gone on during the day.
*He's gonna go get hurt now
Opal-I walk into the training grounds my dagger in my hand, looking for an opponent.
"Would you like me to help you train?"
Opal-I see the watcher mouth the words and I nod pulling out my daggar and dulling it.
I create a large serpentine creature with magic. I will control it and have it fight her.
Opal-I see the creature and charge for it my dagger aimed for it's head.
The creature slithers to the side, snapping at Opal.
Opal-When the creature snapps at me I use my dagger and cut the side of its mouth then backflip away from the animal.
Through the pain, the creature moves forward, still snapping.
Opal-I use my dagger to slice the creature's ear then I trip and fall backwards
The creature dodges the slice and bites her hand.
Opal-The bite actually hurt a lot, I wondered it teh creature's teeth where dulled at all. I didn't get up, i stayed down and thought of a plan.
The creature bites a few more times.
Opal-When it tried to bite the lasty time i kicked it's jaw got up and punched it right in the eye, then i picked up my dagger.
The creature continues biting and dodging.
Opal-WHen the creature's head went up a little to prepare for another bite, I ducked under it and jabbed my dagger into where its heart should have been.
The creature disappears.
Opal- I stand and clean my dagger with a special cloth.
"Good job." I say.
Opal-I turn to find the watcher so if he talks I will know what he is saying. I see him mouth good job. I nod and thubms up hoping he takes that as thank you.
"I would suggest not laying down and staying still for a while."
Opal-I knew that wasn't one of my best ideas. I tried to use hand motions to ask directiopns to the lake. Lake might have looked a bit more like castle though.
I shake my head, shruggiung.
I nod and walk away thinking of a way that i can communicate better with others.
Gwendolyn I dragged my sword across the dirt, approaching a large tree in front of me.
Arya-I pull my bow off my back and get into my stance. I grab an arrow from my shaft and let it loose. Right in the center, again. I sigh and continue shooting.
GwendolynI proceeded into attack, going into a series of elusive footworks untill attacking the tree viciously. I stepped back, touched the scratches and wounds I'd left on the bark and sang quietly, healing the poor tree.
"That was very good," I walk up behind him and give him a compliment.
*shes a girl*Gwendolyn I jump, clutching my sword. "Thank you."
Iriseye:I walk onto the grounds looking for a Watcher.
I approach Iriseye.
Iriseye:I see a Watcher and unhook my chakrams.
I pull out long, sharp spikes.
Iriseye:"Ranged combat eh?"
I make the spike the size of a small dagger to the size of a long sword.
Iriseye:I start to spin my chakrams.
I ready my spikes.
Iriseye:I jump onto a high rock and throw them down.
I slash at the chakrams with amazing speed.
Iriseye:The chakrams cut the spike in half.
The spikes did nothing. They are made of the strongest metal.
Iriseye:I smirk as the chakrams come back to me.
I run towards him and stab with the spikes.
Iriseye:I block with one chakram and slash with the other one.
I use the other spike to stop the chakram and quickly stab three times with the other one.
Iriseye:I jump out of the way. I needed a new strategy. My chakrams become made of Uru. The strongest metal.
I stab multiple times with the spikes, starting at the head.
Iriseye:I front-flip behind the Watcher and throw my chakrams at high speeds.
I dodge them with matching speed, sending them back with full force.
Iriseye:I catch them and send them back. "I will get you eventually"
I nod. I then make my spikes as long as a very long sword.
Iriseye:My chakrams grow larger as well. "B**ch please" The chakrams come back to me and I catch them.
"You might want to watch your language." I stab quickly at his head, then chest, then calf, then thiegh and then stomach.
Iriseye:I dodge all the attacks and slash with my chakrams.
I let a chakram hit me, but it is dulled for the battle. Then I suddenly attack again.
Iriseye:The chakram is sharp as ever and tears through the skin of the Watcher. I block the attack with my other chakram.
(blades are dulled in practice)
I stab his stomach with both spikes and then slam them into his head.
**crap, but wait, his chakrams are forever sharp**Iriseye:I become disoriented but quickly regain composure.
(magic puts a dull thing around them like in Eragon books.)
I stab a few times and whack also.
**ahh ok**Iriseye:I smirk and look at the ground. "Oh no"
I whack his head again.
I back away, holding my spikes up in defense.
Iriseye:I pull a pair of gloves from my pocket and pull up a plant. "I need to get this to the infirmary" I run off.
I nod, "Goodbye. Good job."
Aqua:I walk on, in human form, wearing a camo tank top, jeans, and combat boots, my blond and aqua hair loose. I look around, my fists clenched, beauty almost radiating from me. I look for a creation from the Watchers, for me to fight. I want the creation tough...it's the only way of getting better at combat.
"A mermaid." I say, walking over.
(Are mermaids allowed to train here? She is in human form.)Aqua:I nod. "I need battle practice." I say.
(if she is a citizen)
"Would you like a creature or me?"
(She's a citizen :))Aqua:"May I have a creature first please?" I ask.
WatcherI create a creature. It is medium sized. It his furry and has four long legs it's claws. It looks like a wolf yet oddly shaped.
Aqua:I prepare myself for battle, my fists clenched, and in one hand, a sword.
The creature jumps into the air and lands on her head.
Aqua:I fall backwards, but push off my hands and end in a flying kick straight towards the creature.
The creature lands on all four feet and runs towards her.
Aqua:I run towards it, unsheating my sword and bringing it down.
The creature dodges it and tries to bite her foot.
Aqua:I sidestep it and do a powerful backflip over the creature, landing behind it and slashing at its back leg.
The creature squeals and slashes at her with its claws.
Aqua:I feel slightly sorry for the creature, and splash the wound with water to help heal it. It slashes me. I roll on the ground, get back up and attempt a kick.
The creature dodges and tries to bite her foot.
The creature jumps onto her leg.
Aqua:"Why do you always go for my leg?" I ask, punch blocking the creature.
The creature jumps to her arm and tries to bite it.
Aqua:"Bite on my fist!" I cry, attempting to punch the creature again.
The creature flies away.
Aqua:I turn to the watcher."Ummm...now what should I do?" I ask. "May I battle you?" I ask.
The creature charges back and jumps on her back.
Aqua:I was caught unaware."WOW!!!" I cry, as I fall to the ground. I struggle underneath the creatures grip.
The creature nips at her.
Aqua:I dodge the bite and attempt to roll out of the way.
The creature falls off of her.
Aqua:I do a backflip, landing infront of the animal and tapping it on the nose sternly." Sit!"
The creature snaps at her finger.
Aqua:I roll my eyes and swiftly pull my finger back."SIT!!!" I say again.
The creature runs in circles around her, snapping and nipping.
Aqua:I take a powerful jump and land outside the circle of snapping and nipping.
The creature growls.
Eefay:I watch the others train, my hard, angular face expressionless. Some of them are.... passable, I'll give them that, but none have my skill. Though, of course, who could be when I'm incapable of losing a battle?
I walk onto the Training Plains and pull out my bow and arrow. I aim at one of the targets, and shoot. I hit the center of the middle.
Eefay:I observe the pretty, young archer. A lucky shot? I doubt it... Her face shows the confidence of a talented fighter, not a soft but fortunate noble out on a lark. I wonder if she's a gaurd?
I let another arrow fly towards its target, and again I hit the center of the middle. I then feel like I am being watched and I turn around to see another elf watching me.
Eefay: I nod politely. "Good afternoon.... You are a very good archer." I glance at my simple, home-made (If you want something done right, do it yourself...) bow and arrows. "I think I may have seen you before," I add thoughtfully. "Maybe when I was a warrior. Or are you a new member of the gaurd?"
"I am a warrior. Once of the top warriors, as a matter of fact," I bow my head to be polite.
Eefay:"I was once a warrior.... " I comment. "Now, a serve as second captain of the royal guard. My name is Eefay." I finish , with a slight incline of my head. I hate formalities, but a fellow guard or warrior deserves respect. I straighten, head raised proudly once again.
"Nice to meet you Eefay. My name is Sea."
Eefay: "Sea," I repeat thoughtfully. Perhaps she's part mermaid, or has powers over water? "An unusual name. If you don't mind me asking, is there a story behind it?"
"There is no story behind it. But I can control water. My parents loved the water, so they named me Sea."
Eefay:"My sister's also an elemental, though not for water. As for me, I have enhanced fighting skills." Personally, I consider mine to be the best. But perhaps everyone does?
"You would be surprised how good you can defend yourself with water. Water is just the one place I can think and replace all of my emotions. I am also a great warrior and fighter. I am one of the top warriors for the King and the elves. I am very proud of my work," I state.
Eefay: I watch her closely. Yes, she is most likely the great warrior she claims. "It is good to be proud of your work." I smile faintly. "If you ever wish to leave the warriors, I could get you a position in the guard... However, I highly doubt you will ever tire of being a warrior?..... I left only because the king asked me to serve the Royal family directly."
"That is such a generous offer. But being a warrior is to honor my family, and a warrior I will stay." I smile at her.
Eefay: I smile, a rare occurrence. "I am glad to see such dedicated warriors protect our kingdom."
"Guards as well," I smile at her.
Eefay:I nod proudly, taking the praise at face value. She's no noble: I don't expect false flattery which I then must refuse the give to them. "How long have you been a warrior? " I question. She looks about my age.
"Since I was a mid-teen. Once I was on my own, I immediately took the role of a warrior."
Eefay:"I started relatively young, as my parents died in an attack when I was 203.... So, 148 years now." I reply.
"Same here, pretty much. My parents died in a battle...."
Eefay:So many citizens have died, so many children orphaned. "Do you have any siblings?" I question, wondering how similar are lives had been.
"I did, but once my parents got killed my little sister ran off and I have never heard from her again. I don't know what happened to her, but now I have someone else that can somewhat replace my family, but not totally."
Eefay:"I have a younger brother, by a year..... He's gotten.... difficult." I say, a slight frown forming in my face as I think of his rebellion and frequent disappearances. "And may I ask who that would be?" I question amusedly, avoiding my current train of thought.
"Damion Damgrio. He is a guard to the King," I smile at the thought of him....at least I think he is a guard to the King...
Eefay: "Ah, the one with the green eyes and the trident?" I question. Damion is very handsome, and funny too, but that power of his....!
I nod, "Yes, that is him. He has changed my life."
Eefay:I laugh warmly. "He's a real charmer."
Eefay: I laugh. "Damion's quite the charmer." I admit.
"He is, but there is just something about him that makes me forget all of my problems. It's like the world becomes new...it's a really good feeling," I admit.
Eefay: I tilt my head slightly, curious. "I've never been in love, nor do I have time for it, but love sounds pleasant the way you put it."
"It is, but be careful on who you fall for, because not all love is as good as the love I own," I point out.
Eefay:I shake my head. "No, no, I'm not planning on it myself!" I cry, slightly mollified but mostly bemused.
"That is probably a wise choice," I laugh.
Eefay:I push back my dark, loosely curled hair. "I'm hardly wise," I smile. "I simply devote my life to my work."
"That can have good and bad endings in many ways," I say as I pull my bow and arrows back out and aim at the target.
Eefay: "I work hard, and if I work for a greater good- The protection of elves- I simply do not see a bad ending. If I am killed, it had a purpose." I examine my sword, the metal glinting in the light.
"That is very true," I state once my arrow hits the center.
I wander around for a bit, and finally find a knife range. Carefully, I aim and throw the knife. Bulls-eye.
ArrealiaI walk in, my sword slung across my back. My hair is braided in a long braid and rolled up in a braided bun, a black rose sticking out from underneath. My long cloak flows behind me in the wind, my tall black boots thumping as I walk. I look around for a watcher to spar with.
I come over to her. "Hello. Ow would you like t train?"
ArrealiaI draw aout my bejeweled sword. "Swordsmanship."
I make a sword appear. "Go!" I start by slicing at her hips."
I quickly parry the blow, spin, and aim for the stomach.
I easily block it, and then stab, in rapid succession, four times at the arms and legs.
ArrealiaSweeping my sword in a circle, I block all of the stabs, fake for the shoulders and stab the stomach.
I whack he sword away and backflip, trying to kick her.
ArrealiaI cartwheel back, jump into the air far above the Watcher, and fall, slashing my sword.
I knock the sword away and slice and stab repeatedly.
ArrealiaI backflip and dodge the stabs, and sweep my sword for the feet while kicking up for the face.
I jump backwards, dodging the sword.
ArrealiaI lunge and slash at the face.
I slash at the sword, slice at her legs and stab repeatedly at her chest and stomach.
ArrealiaI jump back and stab five times at his head and torso.
I get close to letting one touch me, but I dodge at the last second, making it look like it got me. I fall.
I stand hesitantly at the door to the training room, biting my thin bottom lip nervously. My ebony black bow is in my left hand, a matching black leather quiver slung across my shoulder. I glance around, seeing others and shying away. Did I really want to enter a place with so many dangerous strangers armed with weapons? I had to train, and this was the place, but where did I even begin?
I see a girl standing by the training room door. I walk over to her and say, "Hi, I'm Sea. Welcome to the training room. And by the way, this is just for training, not to the death."
My eyes narrow slightly suspicious, as I look at her. "Hello... I think it would be easier if I could kill them, rather than having to be cautious..." I look around again, my hand tightening on my bow defensively. My voice is solidly truthful, no hint of remorse in it.
"No need to be cautious. Our infirmary nurse is excellent at healing everything. Plus, most of us know how to heal ourselves quickly while fighting," I explain.
I blink a few times, raising a thin eyebrow at her, and purse my lips as I think. "Perhaps you would be interested in sparring with me?"
"I would love to spar you. And, just to let you know, I heal fast and barely ever loose a fight," I state, twirling my sword in my hand. "But first of all, what is your name?"
My violet eyes drop to the ground, catious to reveal anything personal. "You can call me Rei..." I glance around the room again, spotting a circle of dummies stuck on poles in the ground. "How about a shooting contest? I'm not very good with a sword, or anything really save my bow."
"That's sounds like a fare contest, Rei," I smile, putting my sword away and take out my bow. I don't tell her this, but archery is my best when fighting; I never miss.
"Alright... you first..." I mumble shyly, a little unsure of myself. I move my bow to my left hand, my fingers finding the familiar grooves in the wood. I follow Sea over to the dummies, stopping about fifty meters away from the closest one. "Is here good?"
I back up a little, not liking to be too close. I lift my bow and arrow, concentrating on the dummies heart. I pull back my bow, breathing in. I slowly release my breath and at the same time release my arrow. When I look up I see that my arrow has hit the dummies heart dead on. I nod and smile at my hit. "Your turn."
Nodding once, I lift my black bow. It is slender, and bends seemingly easily in my hands. I notch a matching black arrow, fitted with pure white feathers. I aim the bow, then close my eyes and release. The arrow whistles audibly with speed, nestling an inch from yours and the center. "D*mn..." I whisper in self-disappointment.
"That would still be a slow death hit," I comment, trying to make her not feel bad.
"Tch, it's not good enough." I purse my lips determined, and instead of waiting my turn, I quickly notch a second arrow. I aim for the farthest dummy which is about three hundred meters back, letting it fly with another whistle. This time the arrow hits home in the center of the heart, vibrating with speed. "It's always the same... I hit better the farther away my target is..."
I smile. I aim for the same dummy her arrow just hit. I focus for only a few seconds, and then let my arrow fly. It cuts itself through Rei's arrow and hit the center of the dummies heart.
My eyes darken slightly, now almost a blackish purple color. I'd never be good enough at anything, no matter how hard I tried. "Good shot..." I mutter dryly, not looking at my now-split arrow. "I guess you win."
"Not yet. You try," I offer, just having fun shooting arrows with my bow, not worried about the contest.
I sigh quietly and raise my bow once more. The air around me gets a little warm and my purple eyes start to glow with a little red at the edges. This time when I let the arrow go, it makes more of a hissing noise than a whistle. The black shaft glows like a hot coal, and as it hits the end of your last arrow it explodes into a burst of purple flames. The fire disappears in a few seconds, and nothing remains of our arrows or the dummy except a pile of ash.
My eyes widen and my mouth drops open in shock. "Wow...that was really cool," I comment, smiling at her.
My eyes are wide with shock, and my skin is pale as a sheet. I shake my head slowly, then turn and sprint out with my bow in hand.
"Rei!?" I yell after her, confused why she just ran out like that. I just shrug my shoulders in bewilderment and walk over to a rock and sit on it.
I walk into the training rooms and take out my trident, stabbing various dummies that are used for training. I stab at a dummies head, twisting my trident, decapitating it. I then move on to the next one and stab it in the heart, putting in all I can.
I look around for someone to fight with, and then I spot Damion. I quickly make my way over to him without him seeing me. The next swing he takes, I take out my sword and block his blow on a dummy with it.
"Sea!" I go over and give her a kiss. "I didn't know you were up yet."
"Oh, really?" I ask after kissing him.
**can she have already saw him in the village and get mad at him here?**
"Yeah." I say, drifting off.
**Okay! Just making sure...**
"So, what were you doing out so early?" I ask quizzically, knowing exactly why he was out early.
I put my trident down and look down at the floor, hiding a smile. "I went out to get something."
"Oh really?" I ask, my voice getting angry. "Like, a heart necklace and a heart cookie, perhaps! Something for another girl!"
"Wait, wh-what? What are you talking about?" I say.
"You lied to me last night! You left to go get something for another girl!" I realize I am yelling.
**Idk how to make this good....**
"Where did you even get that from! Why were you following me?" I say to her.
"I followed you because you left!"
"I left because...." I stop, not wanting to tell her I went out to get her something, since it was a surprise. "You know what? Think what you wish." I turned and left, leaving her behind as I set out for my room.
I stop my foot in my anger, trying not to scream. I feel tears pushing against my eyes and so I run to my room.
(You could have Sea go to the cave where Damion showed her before, forgetting that it is also his place to go when he needs to think and they could make up there or something.)
**I'll have her leave her room and go there, then. This is exciting! Lol**
i know! Lol!
**I just posted in the forest!**
Serea:I stand in the plains, scanning everyone for technique and weak points
I walk over to one of the Targets and ready my aim with my bow and arrow. I line up with one of the targets, then I shoot very close to the bulls-eye
"Rrrggh! So close" I shake my head
I try again
