    Book Blog:
    The Book Nympho
    http://thebooknympho.blogspot.com/

The focus is BOOKS, mainly in the Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, YA Paranomal, and Erotic Romance genres. But I also review TV shows and movies that are based on books in the paranormal genres. (True Blood and Vampire Diaries)

My husband helped me come up with the name for the blog. I wanted something that said I love books and can't get enough of them. And since I do go on smut reading binges, I thought that Nympho summed up my obsession with books and hinted at the steamier books I read.

The Book Nympho was founded in March 2011.

I mentioned in the introduce yourself thread that I love you blog but it bares repeating (or is that bears for paranormal shapeshifting fans?) I can't believe that your blog has only been up and running for less than a year. So impressive. Mine has been going on for almost three and I am still a novice book blogger.

I published a book on this website smashwords.com an electronic book website for people to self publish stories in electronic book form. I published the story in October. Book is called A WOLF GIRL'S DIARY and costs 99 cents. Here's the link to it:
    http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/97411
Its a teens/young adult story focuses on a young woman who has an ability to change into a wolf and back to Human. I'm still waiting for someone to post a review of it so I can do some improvements to the story. Its not edited when I published the story on that website so I don't know what people are thinking of that story. Someone let me know of what improvements I can do to that story. thanks. Beth

You may want to think about calling your book an unedited ARC and give away copies to some reviewers for the purpose of making your story better. Honestly, I would not purchase a book (even for $.99) that was unedited. Please don't take that badly. I am not trying to be rude, just honest. If your book is good the reviewers will spread the word. If it needs improvement you will get the feed back you would like.

    Book Blog:
    The World Behind A Shelf
    http://theworldbehindashelf.wordpress.com

I review mostly YA books. I blog about new releases, my review of books, author interviews and anything else book-related.

    Book Tour Site:
    A Novel Outing
    http://anovelouting.wordpress.com/

A Novel Outing is a virtual book “tour” site for authors who have a YA/adult book being released within the next couple of months or who are recently published. For those new to virtual book tours, every blog participating will have a guest post, interview, giveaway, behind the book scenes, review or a combination of the five posted on their blog sometime during the tour. It is up to the author/publisher to provide review copies.

The blog tour consists of an author “visiting” five or more blogs over the course of one week - two months. If the author wishes, we can also do a Twitter chat. Each blog tour has a personalized promotional banner, as well.

I saw that you were working on the 8th book of the Charley Bone series (at the time of the vlog...not sure if you finished it or not because I didn't look at the date of your looooong bus trip to Target LOL), anyway, I've been thinking of adding the Charley Bone books to my TBR. Do you recommend them?

The numerous nature photographs taken during the journey across various locations of Europe add an essence to the poems in the collection.

It attemps to project life in its vibrant enigmatic variations and tries to have a closer look at the simplicites and intricacies of friendship created with many people, some of whom turn from strangers to true friends as life moves on...

Thanks Christina and Leslie!! I really appreciate the support. I have discovered this is something I really love to do. It is like a force driving me to continue this. Normally I give up after a week on things, but I have been sticking with this because I truly enjoy it. I am hoping eventually to add other things to it at some point. Honestly I purchased the domain name because I want to do some writing at some point and I want that to be my official site.

Also Christina thanks for the comment on the Faerie point system. I didn't want to have the normal "star" system for the reviews, so I thought this would make it a little more me. :-) Thanks for noticing it.

    Hello all!

I'm super excited about my new PNR series that is getting ready to release, so I'd thought I'd share here.

The Ovialell series: http://www.shelfari.com/series/Ovialell - A new adult paranormal series featuring goddesses, witches, werewolves, vampires, and even more sexy supernaturals. (Pronounced: Oh-Vee-uh-lell)

PROPHECY'S CHILD is a short-story companion that is releasing on October 9, 2012, and ARADIA AWAKENS, book one, will be available November 6, 2012.

The companions can be read as stand alone's but feature the back stories of some of the side characters which tie into the main series. So to avoid spoilers, I'd recommend reading them in order of their release dates. And while the companions are more YA, the actual series is definitely adult due to the explicit sexual content.

    I hope you'll check them out! :)

    Hi Everyone,

I'm happy to share my latest release, Aradia Awakens with you. It's book one of the Ovialell series, which is an adult PNR. There's a multitude of sexy supernaturals including witches, werewolves, vampires, fairies, and Amazons. But please be warned...the sex is explicit! I'm thrilled to have received five star ratings so far on GR, and would love to hear your feedback as well.

I sent out an email to a few of my blogging friends (see below) and I thought I would invite you guys to take part in my week long blogoversary in March. For those of you that are not bloggers, it would be fun to hear from followers of the blog. If you want to write up a short little post about how you've enjoyed following The Book Nympho I can pair it with an author sponsored giveaway.

Ok so my 2 year Blogoversary is coming up at the end of March. Last year I invited authors that have been on blog to do posts and giveaways. This year I want to invite bloggers to help me celebrate. I love the idea of a week long of roast like posts from you guys.

I'm inviting you to say WHATEVER you want about me and/or the blog. Good, bad, bitchy, snarky, Whatever F%#^ you want to say.

    - Did I recommend a book to you that you loved (or hated)? Tell us.
    - Did we work together on an event and I was fun (or a bitch) to work with? Tell us.
    - Did we meet in person and you just loved (or hated) me? Tell us.
    - Did you love a post I did? Review, random post, feature (WTF) topic?
    - Do I make you laugh on Twitter?
    - Think I'm a perv and should be banned from the internet?

I want SNARK!! You will not hurt my feelings. I want this to be fun. If you want to play it safe and just rave about me or the blog that's fine too.

Basically I just want you to have fun with it.

    Giveaways -

They are not necessary but if you want to sponsor a giveaway, cool!
    - Do you have a stash of swag (author or from your blog) and you want to unload it? Great.
    - Do you have books on your shelf you want to giveaway? New or used (I ask if they are used that they be in "like new" condition)? Great.
    - Random shit you don't want. Great. Weirder the better.

Interested? Just fill out the FORM

I'm working on a button and will post it on my sidebar once it's ready.

Today's discussion topic on The Book Nympho is about audiobooks. Do you have examples of narrations that make or break a book or series? Are there any you're on the fence about? We'd love your feedback.

I loved the Outlander series on audio. Also The Color Purple, Their Eyes Were Watching God, and Metaxes' Bonhoeffer. I felt all were enriched by their narrators.

Hi everyone! Please check out my new book, GNASH, available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and Lulu for only $2.99! I hope some of you want to pick it up and support an aspiring new author. It would be perfect for the 12 x 12 challenge in the horror or zombie genre.

Quick summary: An ancient fundamentalist organization has chosen to lash out against its enemies by conducting several attacks simultaneously across the globe. One of the assaults unleashes a deadly virus within the Pentagon. When the virus mutates beyond anything the terrorists expected, the nation’s capital is plunged into a violent zombie outbreak that threatens to infect everyone in the region. A desperate attempt to stop the potential global epidemic backfires as the infected survive a brutal pre-emptive strike and continue to wreak havoc on the human population when they reemerge from the bowels of the ruined city.
