  I've always enjoyed reading Stephen King's works. He has a great way of ensnaring the reader and manipulating his/her perceptions into exactly what he wants one to see. My favorite story of his would be the "Dark Tower" series, but if you're just looking to step into his style, try "Cujo" or "Carrie" - both great and terrifying stories that show off his mastery of the horror genre.

    Hi Cam, I totally agree with you. I love Carrie as well as The Dead Zone, Pet Sematary and The Green Mile. I shall have to check out his "Dark Tower" series though. Are you a Dean R Koontz fan too?

    (chuckles) I've got a soft spot for Dante, Nikolai and Chase although I've found Rio to be the most interesting as he's suffered the most. I'm glad that Chase has finally been given his own book, it's been a long time coming methinks. I never figured why we got to read about Kade and Brock before Chase.
