Personally, if Suzanne Collins never wrote MockingJay, (or did, but completely different) the whole series would have been better. The fact that she had Peeta "hijacked" and Gale just left was very upsetting for me, and I think she stopped writing too abruptly and carelessly. Don't get me wrong, I love the series, just the last book was really lacking when the Hunger Games need a strong ending. If the rebellion would have went on without hijacking Peeta or Gale leaving, but went more into detail about Katniss choosing one or the other, it would have bneen much better. Instead, Suzanne rid Gale completely and left Katniss with too many problems, as well as Peeta. The ending was really fluffy, which makes me think - did she even have an editor read it? or take their suggestions? No. Or if she had a better ending and changed it because of an editor, then he doesn't know what he's taling about.
Anyway, the whole series would have been much better without such a lacking, rushed ending.
