The two women who rule Darkknight are monsters. They look human enough, but when the sun sets, they turn into slimy, scaly beasts. They each eat a girl every night, that's all this camp is. A way to eat.
A single ray of sunshine in this dark place is the camp across the lake. The girls there are magical creatures. The camp, Camp RedLake, is full of girls who try all the time to save the girls at Darkknight. In fact, the two women running RedLake are the Darkknight beasts' greatest enemies!
