Kindle Owners Who Love Paranormal Romance.... and other romance genres too.

Hello everyone! I originally started the group, "Paranormal Romance is My Brand of Heroin." However, I am continually jealous of the Nook owners outlets for free books! They can check them out at the library, most free reads are in the Nook format, etc. I'm starting this group to make lending books you WANT to read easier for all of us. Enjoy!

How many kindle books do you buy in a months time? I'm new to the kindle. I just got mine this month and i have purchased 4 books already. After this month Im thinking of only doing 2-3 books a month as books add up. Just curious about everyone else.

I agree it gets super expensive; so I had to take off the one-click purchase option (so I have to think about what I’m doing when I buy) and I only buy on a gift card so that I have a set amount of money a month I am allowed to use. I try to limit my consumption to no more than 5 a month. That works most months, though I read a book in about a day so I do a lot of rereading and also my state (OR) has an online digital library that comes in super handy. I also keep a list of author’s release dates I’m waiting on so that I know how many of those I will have to buy in a given month so that I don’t waste my monthly account on non-essentials.
I might be a little OCD.

Are ya'll aware of the free books on Amazon? I just recently discovered them. There are at least two discussion boards that list the links to the free books as well as recommendations. It may not be the authors you normally read, but a great way to try new ones. Also if you like or want to try different genres without spending your alloted money on them, it's great. If nothing else, it will give you something to new to read so don't have to reread unless you want to.

I love the free books. I download a few a day lol. I've been reading a book within 2-3 days. So I break up what I buy with the free ones. But my to buy list is soo long lol!

I just got mine to but I'm going to try not to buy more than 4. I try to fill in the space between with borrowed & free books.
