  I take the key to our room, turning to Peri and Gothita "Kay, so here's the key, we gotta stay hidden for a few days until they police settle down. What do you guys want to do while we're here?" I ask, hoping that I will have enough money to last us until I can find a way to get more.

  I walk in slowly, with my hat brim down low. I see some people milling around looking rather suspicious. I write "Did you just escape?" on my hand and i go up to them beaming. "Hello guys, it is so great to see you," i say as i show them my hand discreetly.

  "Oh, um.. Yeah; hi!" I stumble and smile brightly back at him as I read what's written on his hand. Did you just escape? My eyes widen slightly and I nod enthusiastically. "Yeah, it's great to see you too!"

  I think a couple seconds. Experiment. The kind of un-original thing (not insulting your idea!) that those crazy scientists would come up with. But she seems a bit to... crazy to be a scientist. Still... best to keep up my guard, and give her a fake name for now. Might suppress my powers a bit to.
