The London Dongons
The girls followed the rest of the tour group into the musky depths of the dongons. As the wooden door slammed shut, almost all light was extinguished.
Bianca looked with wide eyes at all the realistic, gory displays, her breathing slightly shaky. She looked around with a sigh to see Ambrosia and her friends giggling at an exhibit of a zombie eating raw flesh...apparently, they weren't afraid of zombies.
"Hey, Bianca! Come check it out!" Ambrosia urged, motioning her over.
Reluctantly, Bianca walked over to the Zombie display, giggling nervously...
A piercing scream rang out through the dungons.
Everybody froze in fear...Nobody dared move, nobody dared speak, nobody dared breathe.
The scream rang out again, louder and more desperate this time.
"BIANCA!" Ambrosia snapped with irritance, being the one to break the silence.
Everybody turned in the direction of Bianca, who had been grabbed by the ZOmbie display. Bianca cried out, frantically waving her arms.
Ambrosia, October, Ember and Jasmira high-fived each other in glee and truimph.
"Looks like little Bianca Stehensen failed her initiation!" October sing-songed.
A room of merciless, Un-blinking eyes turned on Bianca. Shrieks of laughter echoed through the dongeons, in Ambrosia's ears ringing out like the glorious, melodic bells of victory, only to sound like the drawing of a hundred long, silver daggers to Bianca...daggers that had just been plunged into her cold, beaitng heart.
Her breathing became fast and shaky. She stared around her, her eyes wide with humiliation. Crystal blue tears of pain welled in her soft amber eyes. Slowly, she tried to blink them away, but it was no use.
Ambrosia looked with worried eyes at her sister, guilt tattood across her deathly pale face like the mark of a murderous criminal...and in a way, Ambrosia had killed Bianca, she had killed her social life, killed the Goddess inside. She knew that when her social life died, so did Bianca. It would taer away at her, gnawing at her soul until she was simply there, nothing but a hollow shell.
Sighing deeply she held up a black-painted hand, immediatly silencing the crowd.
"Give her a break, would'ya?! She's only freaking thirteen!" she sanpped angrily, rushing over to help the tour guide free Bianca from the display.
"Don't tell me YOU guys aren't scared of anything?!"
"We're not" Blood Diamond chorused in unison.
Ambrosia sighed, looking from her ever-loyal gang to her tearful, heartbroken sister. She knew what they were scared of, she knew by telling everybody it would silence them forever...but did she really want to lose her friends for the sake of a silly child?
"Fine" she said, her voice cold, her face emotionless "But this isn't over..."
Looking around, the five girls discovered that the toor group had left without them.
Aside from them, the room was deserted.
They glanced at each other, worried expressions on their pale, perfect faces.
"Well, byyyye!" Blood Diamond chorused in unsion, faking girlie voices as they waved in a mocking, elegant way, obviously in scruttiny of Bianca.
Ambrosia tried to call after them, but it was too late, they had already disappeared down a darkened tunnel, their figures slowly fading into the murky distance...
