I would like to suggest reading THE ENDLESS HOUR- The True Story of a Haunted Soul by Jesse Battle. You can read the first seven chapters on amazon.com for free.
kinda rediculous, but i didn't realize untill a moment ago that you wrote those.. lol
I am writeing some christian fantasy books.. not sure if i want to publish them...
I'm doing the same! I was wondering (for you or anyone else). What you would like to see and wouldn't like to see in a Christian fantasy novel. I'm having a hard time balancing everything I want in there but not making the whole thing cheesy or overly religious sounding.
In mine, God is mentioned at hard times in their lives.. thats the main, and at church, but its not so "hypocrytical' or 'christian like' that it would send people of other religion away from it
Ya, well the difficulty in mine is that churches don't exist where half of the book is set. I think I'm doing what you are doing as far as mentioning God.
;) good ideas! haha
Here are my favorite Christian fantasy authors:1) Stephen Lawhead2) Karen Hancock3) L. B. Graham4) George Bryan Polivka5) Sharon Hinck
