Uploading Covers
Members can upload covers for book editions without covers or edit the covers for editions with member-added covers.
Here's how it works:
1. From the Editions tab on the book detail page, you can upload a cover from the "Covers" or "List" view of the editions.
a) From "Covers", click the upload button to add a cover (note: this does not associate the cover with a specific edition).
b) From "List" view, click "Edit this set" and then click "select a cover for this edition". Then upload a cover or select an existing member uploaded cover (note:
this does associate the cover with the specific edition).
2. To associate a cover with a specific edition, you can upload a cover directly to the edition or select an existing uploaded cover in List view (see above).
3. To edit the cover a member has uploaded, click "edit this set". Then you'll have the option to change the cover for that edition.
4. To report an inaccurate member added cover, go to the "Covers" view of the editions. Click the the "please report it" link at the bottom of the page. This report will be reviewed by the Shelfari Librarians and they will remove any inaccurate covers.
*Covers can be uploaded for any edition that is missing a cover, or if the existing cover was uploaded by a member. Book editions that have covers from Amazon cannot be changed
Sharing Books on Facebook, Twitter & LinkdIn
From the book detail page you can share a link to that book on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn. Just click the icon in the upper right hand corner. This allows you to add a link (in Facebook you can include the cover) so that you can share books on other social networking sites.
