  Dear Diary,
  I have never been so scared of death in my life. It's sad, really, that I had plead to live as my death came to kill me. But, I'm not dead, in a way. I have become something people take as a myth. But, I have the proof that it is all real. I am a killer, a monster, a blood-drinker. I am a vampire. But, I have not killed, and I hope I never have to. But...I have a feeling my life is just beginning.

  Dear Diary,

  We were brought before the Council today. Seeing them, willing myself to believe I am a part of this...it's hard after thinking for so long vampires didn't exist. I hope that will change soon.

  Dear Diary,

  I don't understand how the world could end. But, I have seen it. River, the sweetest girl, taken away in madness. It is diffcult to see her that way. I hope this vision is wrong...but, I don't think will be.
