    1.) Don't have one
    2.) Don't have one
3.) Not yet, but there are a few I plan to.. like the HP series.
4.) I try my best to finish, if it's super boring, I will put it on hold for a bit
5.) TWILIGHT-THE WHOLE SERIES--interesting at times.. but hard to bare in places
6.) Depends on what I'm reading at the time.. for now; Brandon Sanderson.
7.) Depends on my mood, but mostly FICTION
8.) Fantasy/Sci-fi--Toss up between the two
9.) I'd say romance or chick lit
10.) Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden because it is extremely well written and I loved it even though it was outside my usual genres.

    1) George R. R. Martin
    2) Don't have one
    3) Yes, I have read the HP series three times and tWoT series twice
    4) Always finish what I start
    5) Eragon
    6) Robert Jordan
    7) Fiction
    8) Fantasy for life! :-)
    9) Romance
    10) The whole Harry Potter series; It is easily the best series, as a whole, that I have ever read.

    1) William Gibson
    2) Rush Limbaugh
    3) Definitely! I've read the Harry Potter series 7 times.
    4) I try to finish. Often I end up loving books that started off slow and unappealing.
    5) The Secret: The Power
    6) Neil Gaiman
    7) Fiction. My ratio of F to NF is about 32:1 a year.
    8) Science Fiction
    9) Self Help
    10) Pattern Recognition by William Gibson. It put me in this magical sort of unreal mood while I was reading it and for several days afterwords.

    1No idea
    2 George Orwell
    3 More often than not
4 I leave it for a bit and give a second chance....if that doesn't work out, I'm done.
    5 Twilight....I read them and I like em, BUT......really?
6 Jane Austen--class and feminism mixed with undeniable self worth
7 Fiction only because I think it's written better
    8 I'm not sure
    9 Cheesy romance....there is a difference
10 Pride and Prejudice as it has everything you could ever hope for in a book and yet it doesn't give away all it's secrets but leaves those up to your imagination.

Oh yeah, she is a great author! Definitely not afraid to go "there". I am waiting for Infinity Gate to appear at my bookstore in paperback and I will most likely read The Crucible and the Troy Game series at some point. I ran into a girl in a poetry class who had read some of her books and I was very surprised to find someone who had read them. Lol ^_^ (Especially to find that it was someone I knew O.o)

    1Who is your favourite author
I can't narrow it down to only one, but Margaret Atwood, Doris Lessing are at the top of my list!

2 Who is your least favourite author
Read a book by Dan Brown once, the story was good but hated the writing style.

3 Do you ever re-read books
Yes, I have my 'comfort' books, in particular 'Rebecca' by Daphne Du Maurier and 'Wuthering Heights' by Emily Bronte.

4 If you are not enjoying a book do you leave it down or try to finish it
I tend to put it to one side for a while and try again in a few weeks, but sometimes I never go back to it.

5 What book do you think is horribly overrated
Everyone has their personal preferences, so I think it just comes down to taste.

6 If you meet a writer which author would you choose
    Doris Lessing.

7 Do you prefer fiction or non fiction
I like a bit of both, but I couldn't live without fiction.

8 What is your favourite genre
Anything that is going to teach me about a culture, time period or place.

9 What is your least favourite genre
I would have to say Sci-Fi.

10 I have nothing to read what book would you recommend and why?
Jonathan Livingstone Seagull should be a must for everyone.
I also recently read 'Love in the Present Tense' by Catherine Ryan Hyde and I think it has a lot to teach us all.

1Who is your favourite author?..... John Steinbeck and Pat Conroy

2 Who is your least favourite author? ........Amy Tan... I have tried to read 2 of her books, just didn't like her writing style. Maybe at some point I will try again since she seems ot be a popular author

3 Do you ever re-read books? .........Never... too many other books to read and I am not a very fast reader

4 If you are not enjoying a book do you leave it down or try to finish it?........ I try to finish...thinking it might get better. If a book was recommended to me.. I always felt I was obligated ot finish it. My new years resolution is to not feel obligated anymore.. To each their own.

5 What book do you think is horribly overrated? ......Twilight.. I thought it was juvenile writing and lacked substance. Maybe if I was a teenage I would feel different

6 If you meet a writer which author would you choose?........ Pat Conroy or Maeve Binchy -- 2 of the best story tellers...EVER! (IMO)

7 Do you prefer fiction or non fiction?..... Fiction

8 What is your favourite genre? ......Historical Fiction

9 What is your least favourite genre?........ Sci-fi or Mystery

10 I have nothing to read what book would you recommend and why? ........Water For Elephants... it is on my all time favorties list. Just a great story

1.) Who is your favourite author? I have no favorites. I love them all.
2.) Who is your least favourite author? So far none.
3.) Do you ever re-read books? Of course. Some books need to be read more then once to fully understand them.
4.) If you are not enjoying a book do you leave it down or try to finish it? I finish it. Some books will start out very slow but in the end it usually turns out alright.
5.) What book do you think is horribly overrated? Twilight Series. You all know why.
6.) If you meet a writer which author would you choose? Hmm. Maybe the author of a good long series. I've always wondered how'd they get so many ideas for their story without running out.
7.) Do you prefer fiction or non fiction? Fiction, but I do love reading about medical disorders and biology.
8.) What is your favourite genre? Mystery, definately mystery.
9.) What is your least favourite genre? Historical fiction. I have only found one that I have liked. If anyone knows of a good one I'd love to hear about it though.
10.) I have nothing to read what book would you recommend and why? I... I have no idea what you like. I could recommend a four book series called Montmorency though. It's about a criminal in Victorian London.

5 What book do you think is horribly overrated?
    Twilight Saga.

6 If you meet a writer which author would you choose?
Brandon Sanderson. Keeping my fingers crossed to meet him at a book signing in November!

    3. No, but I'm considering re-reading Allen Steele's Coyote series
    4. I generally try to finish, unless it's truly dire.
    5. Nothing that I've read I'd consider to be too overrated
    6. Love to meet Allen Steele, I have talked to him via email, he has his address on his site
    7. Prefer fiction, especially considering my favorite genres are sci-fi and fantasy
    8. Sci-fi followed closely by fantasy
    9. I guess romantic novels aren't my thing

1Forever I have claimed Zora Neale Hurston as my favorite; Stephen King is in my Top 10 and Janet Evanovich brings me joy as well
2 Is this a category? I don't have a least favorite author. I pretty much ditch books I don't like if after the 3rd chapter nothing has pulled me in, and I don't implant the authors name in my memory.
3 Not very often. I have re-read Patricia Cornwell books and Zora Neale Hurston.
4 I leave it be if after Chapter 3 nothing is happening. I may go back at another time and give it a second chance. If it fails me again, I give it away
    5 Gone With the Wind
6 Stephen King or Jonathan Saul
7 Yes, I prefer fiction and nonfiction
    8 Mystery
    9 Science Fiction
10 Intensity by Dean Koontz because this book does not fail at any point and it is an engaging read
