I finished The Good, the Bad, and the Undead and really liked it. It answered a lot of questions I had from the first book. I am starting Friday Night Bites and Passion Unleashed.

I guess I'm a bit confused on the Kim Harrison series. Are they romance or are they fantasy?

I think they are more urban fantasy.

Finished Resident Evil Retribution - Novelization By John Shirley - ★★★
It was ok ,i was hopeing it was gonna be better then it was ,I think the movie was more face paced and more enjoyable then the book .

This was alot of stuff that was added and it didn't really need to be , i didn't like the fact they he took one of the fight scenes outta the book , the one with the 2 Executioners that attack Ada and Alice , that was disappointing , i just thought it was gonna really good but it was only so-so , i would say watch the movie insted of reading the book .

Up next i think i'm gonna read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes By Arthur Conan Doyle

    THE TURNING by Jennifer Armintrout
    *** 3 stars (okay)
This book centers around Dr. Carrie Ames who gets bitten one night while at work and becomes a vampire. She is caught in a bit of a love triangle between a vampire assassin who gets paid to kill law breaking vampires and the evil vampire who she has a blood bond with.

The plot had a good back bone but lacked substance. I found myself becoming frustrated at the main character and the predictable outcomes. I was also more than a little disturbed by a few brief acts of pedophilia, though not explicit, they were enough to make my skin crawl. I liked the conclusion and will probably read the next book. I enjoyed the fast paced read and the style of writing.

WILD ABOUT YOU by Kerrelyn Sparks
    *** 3 stars (okay)
This book involves a were-bear, a curse, and the woman the curse says he is destined to kill who he is undeniably attracted to.

This is a cute story with the typical romance novel time line. I found the ending a little cheesy and wish it had been written more like her other books but for the most part she kept it to her writing style with witty dialoge though her usual banter was a little off. Enjoyed her other books more but not upset to have read it.

I'm halfway through "Warrior" by Kristina Douglas and thoroughly enjoying it. Michael has been my favorite Archangel since forever, and my favorite angel in this series from the beginning. I'm very excited to be reading his story.

I started reading the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter. So far its one of the closest thing I can find to reading the BDB series and IAD series by Kresley Cole. I'm on to #5 in the series. I'm totally hooked.

Those are some of my favorites as well. You should also try Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed, Larissa Ione's Demonica and of course Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunters.

I read the fisrt two books of that series but for some reason haven't gotten into them. Right now I'm totally digging lords of the underworld series by Gena showalter. They are a mix of the immortals after dark series and black daggar brotherhood series.

Finished The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes By Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - ★★★★
It was pretty good ,i really enjoy deducing the story ,trying to find out what's happend before they come to the conclusion of the story.

I thought that the story was gonna be told from Sherlock Holmes point of view ,but it was insted told by Watson's point of view , over all i enjoyed reading it ,i did however take a while to finish it because of how some of the wording is , alot of the words they used in this don't mean the same thing anymore ,the book was wriiting in the 1800s so once you get use to that it's easy to read the book

Now i think i'm gonna read either Fair Play By Deirdre Martin or Killing Time By Cindy Gerard ,not sure which one i want to start fisrt .

I confess I cried a little bit. I become more and more of a sap the older I get and I'm only 26 lol. Can't wait to pick up the next Kenyon book and dive in again.

I'm about to begin reading Ghost of My Dreams by Angie Ray. This one's a little older than most books I read lately (circa 1996 I believe), and by an author I've never read before, so I'm doubly excited to start it.
