I need some advice! Ah!!!!!!So, cross country starts in a few days, and I haven't run in forever!!! I can start running soon, but do you have any advcie on how I can get conditioned really quickly? See, I don't want to wear myself out too much, but I know that I will have to run a lot to get better. Is there anything that I can do?
I would start out running smaller distances then build it up, one day run it hard and then take an easy run the next. Also try some intervals, try to find a track and run 400's and take like a 2 minute break in between or just map it out. Also every once in a while when you are running do some fartleks (speed up for a certain amount of time then slow down and do that simultaneously), Pronounced fart licks lol :)
