No, these streets are not like that streets of New York. They are winding streets that are lined with houses. The some trees shade the sidewalks from the other side of the street. Take a bike ride or a walk. There is also a fairly old (but sane, don't worry) man who walks through the streets with a knife sharpener in a nice barrel-like thing he rolls around. He will sharpen your knives for you (but it's okay, he doesn't carry knives).
