For more information on Cafe Libri (in all its forms) and its history, visit our website: http://sites.google.com/site/cafelibri.
Rules for Shelfari Cafe Libri include:
1. HAVE FUN! That is always the most important rule in any reading group.
2. Request new discussion threads by posting a comment to one of the moderators' pages: Adrianna (http://www.shelfari.com/adriannas) or Aerin (http://www.shelfari.com/aerodaze).
2. Keep discussions organized by posting comments in the appropriate threads. We have ones created for monthly reads, miscellaneous reading discussions, and miscellaneous (non-book) discussions.
3. Only monthly book reads are added to the group's reading shelf. Please don't add your personal reading titles to the group shelf.
This is an alternate group for members of the Yahoo Cafe Libri Reading Discussion Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cafelibri), founded on Saturday, December 2, 2000.
Cafe Libri Reading Discussion and Book Review Site on Goodreads (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/24399.Cafe_Libri)is a secondary reading group for all types of people. It was created on Monday, September 14, 2009 by a_soft_flower (Serena/Adrianna) to serve as an alternate group for Yahoo members who are also members on Goodreads. Book discussions still continue primarily on Yahoo, but the Goodreads group allows us to advertise Cafe Libri to additional book lovers from around the world.
On Friday, March 19, 2010, Cafe Libri branched out to Cafe Libri on Lunch Reading and Book Review Site (http://community.cafelibri.com/). This is another place where members can share reviews with a new community of readers.
Anyone is invited to join one or more of the three aforementioned sites. The main reading discussions take place at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cafelibri.
