Do you have a favorite bookmarker that you use? I have a unicorn bookmarker I use for paperback books. For hardback books I have a cross stitched bookmarker that my mom made for me.

I have a cute magnet one. It has a Bichon Frise on the front and it is one of those that folds over the top (or side) of your page and the magnets stick together so the marker wont fall out. I don't use it though LOL. I'm forever losing book marks and I don't want to lose it.

I can't find my favorite (though I have a suspicion of which "book box" it's in). It's a plastic magnifier ... wonderful for when my old eyes start getting tired but I just can't stop reading! I'll have to make an effort to find it, because when I checked at the book store they do not have anything like it any more.

I don't have ANY bookmarks. I am the kind of reader other readers hate. I DOG EAR the pages. I know I know.

ITS TRUE! *wails* I don't do it with other people's books just my own. But I am VERY hard on books. I have no idea how people keep their books looking nice. mine normally look like they have been through a war when i get done reading them. XD

My fave bookmarks are the ones I receive as gifts...but I recently purchased a BDB inspired bookmark from Etsy.com that is my absolute fave right now, it's a handmade book thong with beads and a dagger, it's beautiful!

I had to go look those up to see if I could find those on Etsy. Those are awesome, or at least the ones I saw on line.

I seem to collect bookmarks, albeit not at the same rate as the books, and currently have 8 which I rotate so they all get equal usage - sad I know. If one becomes really worn out then unfortunately it goes to bookmark heaven and I have to replace it :-(

Currently got:- Small magnetic one with starsign on; Quick Reads / Get hooked on reading (from local library); Leather "Grandad" poem one from my grand-daughter; Cardboard Batman logo; Parchment type King Tutankhamen one with Hieroglyphic Alphabet from Egypt; Paper Richard and Judy Galaxy Bookclub 2010; Black Cardboard AbbadonBooks.com and finally a cardboard British Heart Foundation Charity Shop one (where I get most of my books from) - so quite an eclectic mix all in all

My sister gave me a great sterling silver bookmark that has a charm you can change out ...currently it's an adorable librarian in stockings.
