Hmm.... that's a toughy because both are increible composers and have composed amazing masterpeices. But i'd have to say that for me it's a tie. Both composed incredible symphonies. Mozart's Opera's make me want to say that he's better, but then again, Beethoven's string Quartet's were just as good.
Not Mozart!! Well.. I think Mozart is fun to listen to, but I recently had to play (second violin) in a concert based entirely around Mozart on his birthday and those three months were the hardest months ever! I don't think I've practiced that hard in my entire life! It was hard, but I've never played Beethoven. so by sound I like Mozart because I think most of his music is more up beet and happy.
I love Mozart, Bach and Beethoven! They are just EPICALLY AWESOME!! :)
Vivaldi or Tchaikovsky.
These days have fallen in love with the music of Schubert...I heard pianist Lang Lang playing a glorious Sonata in B and got hooked....
At the moment I love Bach and Chopin, but especially Chopin because his nocturnes are absolutely beautiful. They help me to relax and focus on my work. My favourite is Nocturne in E-flat major, Op. 9, No. 2. Out of Mozart and Beethoven I can't decide... I prefer playing Mozart (on Clarinet) but listening to Beethoven.
Mahler, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and many, many more.
Elgar, closely followed by JS Bach
