Just could use a little advice here dudes.
Okay, first things first. The background. ^.^
Before a few days ago, I didn't even know what an industrial piercing was, much less that I'd be wanting one. For those of you who are also lacking in this knowledge, this piercing is two holes across the top of a persons ear and a bar stretching across it. My mom said maybe to a helix piercing(A single piercing on the top-ish of your ear) (No I don't have one but she did say maybe so I've got hope for this one.)

Some of you may know, the sexy man in the first picture was Jimmy "The Rev" who was the drummer of Avenged Sevenfold and passed away December 28th a few years ago (2009, correct?) anyway, he had this piercing on his left ear, this is why I really want this piercing instead of a helix.
I'm looking into it and it seems that, yes, it dose hurt(Clearly) but not as bad as expected and it, like most piercings will be around 100. Still working on it though. I just could use some advice as to how to ask my parents, how to convince them, opinions, if anyone has it or another type of cartilage piercing, if it hurt. Just talk to me. Thanks. =)
