Hello,
As I mentioned in a previous post-a group of us have started a book club to meet and discuss books. You are all invited to come!
we'll be meeting October 6th at the Panera in Galleria Mall, Mt. Lebanon at 7pm. I have reserved the meeting room.
This month's book is The Metamorphosis and Other Stories by Franz Kafka. But because there's about a million editions, all with different selections of stories, the two main works we'll be discussing are the title story ("The Metamorphosis") and another one called "In the Penal Colony".
Also, bring books (or a summary) you would like to recommend for next month--any genre. We will pick one as a group to read.
At this point in our new book club:
-we meet the 1st Wednesday of the month
-the person whose book we choose picks the place to meet the following month
Please let me know if you are interested. I keep an email list to remind everyone of the meeting and send out the new book information for those who were not able to attend the most recent monthly meeting. Let me know if you want to be added.
