    Hey there Inkberry!
I'm not actually from Pittsburgh, but since you invited me, here I am! :) I'm not too far away though in MD.

I'm currently reading The Love Season by Elin Hilderbrand. I read Angels by Marian Keyes last month. With working on a couple of writing projects simultaneously, I'll be lucky to read 1 or 2 books/month. I do have Katherine Center's Everyone Is Beautiful on my nightstand though, and I'm anxious to get to it.

    Have a great day!

    WELCOME....I am glad you joined.

    My sisters live in Maryland.

Your books sound interesting...I haven't read any of those, though.

I usually read one a month...sometimes I can get more than one....I had two read in February because we had a week off for all those snow days....we, the teachers, made up one day on Friday of the week of the big snow storm, but still have four more to to go.

    Keep in touch.

    Hi and thanks!
Yeah, I'm lucky to read 1-2 books per month these days. I just released a new novella and have a short story coming out very shortly (a free one), and am also working on my second novel so I don't get a whole lot of time to actually read (other than editing). LOL

If it's any consolation, I haven't read any of the ones you've recently read either. ;) You've gotta like chick lit and/or humor to enjoy my books I think.

I just finished The Love Season by Elin Hilderbrand and started Everyone Is Beautiful by Katherine Center. I've heard it's a good book, but I've got to be honest, this is one of the few books I've picked to read just based on the cover. It has to be one of the most attractive, stunning covers I've ever seen ... or maybe I just have a major sweet tooth. LOL Check out the cover if you haven't seen it. The color combo is really striking (more so online than in person though).

    Happy reading! :)

      Inkberry,

You read one of my alltime favorites in June.
      I love Valley of Decision.
I remember hearing there was an old film with Gregory Peck.
I couldn't wait to see it.
It turned out nothing like the book....a story I hardly recognized........totally different ending...

My husband said at the time the film was made....they needed happy endings!
      ------
Years of Wonder is also a favorite of mine

Hi Inkberry, remember me? Fran from California. You have been really busy. I will have to check our your most recent reads. You always have great books listed. How did you like Juliet? I always try to catch your reviews on books as well. They are very informative. I am going to pick up To Kill a Mockingbird this weekend because I have not read the book. I have seen the movie a couple of times. I thought I would read a Classic in August. It has been a while since I have been on Shelfari. I was wondering if you pick a book for the group to read for the month.

Greetings, This month I read My Name is Mary Sutter and Four Summers Waiting, both Civil War novels and both good. Just started Blindman's Bluff by Faye Kellerman, which will definitely take me into September, and then I am planning on starting Holy Fools by Joanne Harris. Happy reading to all, Julia
