Any recommendations? I tend to like "light" stuff - not super big on mega melodrama & action/suspense.

I recommend any of the "Young family" vampire series by Kathy Love
At Last Comes Love, & Simply Love - Mary Balogh
Like A Charm - Canace Havens
    McKenzie's Magic - Debra Dier

Ok, well without any specific recommendations..... since I order that "Bride Quartet" series by Nora Roberts, I'll just read one of those - since people have been raving & recommending her books to me for forever.

Good luck with those. I've read the first three and found them to be average offerings from Nora and not memorable at all. I'd recommend her Circle Trilogy or her Chesapeake Bay series over the Bride Quartet any day. But if you are interested in stand alone books Carolina Moon, Midnight Bayou, or Montana Sky are a few of my favorites.

I will browse the descriptions for those single titles & if one catches my interest I will borrow from library.

I read Secrets of a Summer Night by Lisa Kleypas. This is the first in the Wallflower series and the second one I've read. I didn't care much for the heroine until the end but found that I enjoyed Kleypas's writing so much I didn't really care that I didn't like Annabelle much. Overall 4 stars and I'm very much looking forward to Lillian's and Evie's stories.

I finished The Reluctant Miss Van Helsing. I gave it 2 stars. I thought it was completely stupid and way too cliche. I absolutely hated the hero and the storyline. The only positive thing about the book was the heroine. I really liked her, and she would have been great if given a better hero and a better written storyline. I know this wasn't the first in this series and I seriously doubt I will bother to go back and read the other.

I'm sorry you hated it so much Sheri. I go back & forth on the rating all the time. Asher was a jerk through 95% of it. Don't let that stop you from reading the next book - The Reinvented Miss Bluebeard. It is super good, I swear! The hero is so anti-Asher - he's a total sweetie who will do anything to win the love of the good doctor Bluebeard.
