  -----------

  I wanted to erase you
  But you just came crawling back
  With no hope or happiness
  And very little tact

  I don't know if I'm stupid
  Or just very, very, weak
  But I missed you so damn much
  When you returned it made me weep

  I'm not really happy
  Nor am I really sad
  To be honest, I'm nothing
  And being nothing's not so bad

  Waves surround feet

  toes curled sun-drenched sand

  raindrops fall, rolling off leaves

  
  
  

  paper boats racing down gutters

  
  
  

  Sunlit peaking trees

  branches swaying

  quiet afternoons

  peaceful mornings

  
  
  

  Warm hugs, holding hands

  Kisses....

  Long blue skies floating clouds by

  
  
  

  Curtains flowing baby laughter.
