This group is for enthusiastic people seeking a different type of reading challenge. Rather than tallying how many books you read, keep track of what you read and how many pages are in each book you finish. It's easy-start a thread with your name in the title (and make sure to bookmark that thread for later) and then as you finish a book, jot down the title, author and number of pages in the thread. As you add books, also track the grand total of pages you've read so far. You can set a goal of how many pages you want to read in a year, or just see how far you can go. Best of all as Shelfari usually lists how many pages are in each edition of a book you don't have to join at the start of the year-you can jump in any time and go back and add up everything you've already read so far.
Of course you are always welcome to discuss anything else you'd like-start a thread about it! As there may be minors present can we please keep things PG-13? And make sure to comment on others' lists if you're of a mind to. Remember to add your books to the group shelf and have fun!
Bookworms! welcomes new authors-tell us about your book! However discussing the same topic again and again is called spamming. I understand if you have a book you want to sell or a story you want to tell. But repeated posts regarding that book or story when you in no other way contribute to this forum tells me that, sadly, you might be happier posting somewhere else.
