1. Best book read in February: BLUE HIGHWAYS REVISITED by Edgar I. Ailor III & Edgar I. Ailor IV. A stunningly beautiful book of photography, as a father-son team of photographers retrace the road trip taken 30 years ago by William Least Heat-Moon in his travel classic Blue Highways. Loved it!
2. Worst book read in February: None of them were that bad. The one I liked least was THIS LIFE by Sidney Poitier. The print was so small, it was a struggle to read, and it was a bit on the boring side. Also I was outraged that it won the 1981 Coretta Scott King award, since the book is most obviously meant for adults [only, IMO].
3. Looking forward to reading in March: Mitch Albom’s new one, THE TIME KEEPER, for the “Time Marches On” Challenge.
