What do you guys think about Brandon Sanderson finishing the series in place of Robert Jordan? Any concerns with difference in writing styles? If you've read some of his other works, do you think Sanderson was the right choice to finish it?

At first I had my doubts about anyone other than Jordan finishing TWoT. At the time that they picked Sanderson to finish the series I had never heard of him. I decided to look into him and see what his writing was like. I have since read many of Sanderson's other works (Elantris, The Mistborn trilogy and Warbreaker). He has quickly become one of my favorite new authors. I can see his growth as an author from Elantris through his other novels.

I still have doubts about anyone other than Jordan being able to tell the tale as it should be told, however, I have also come to enjoy Sanderson's writing and think he is as good a choice as any to finish TWoT.

After hearing that Mr. Sanderson would be finishing The Wheel of Time I sought out one of his books. The first book by him that I read was Mistborn. I really enjoyed it as well as the next two books in the series. I also read Elantris and while I enjoyed the Mistborn novels more it was still an enjoyable read. I also read chapter 1 of the new WoT book (which you can check out at Tor.com). While there is a difference in the writing style it is still RandLand and overall was very good. I look forward to reading the rest when it comes out. Obviously we all wish Mr. Jordan was still with us so he could finish his series, but Mr. Sanderson seems more than capable and up to the task.
