  School Time

  Okay, I'm curious as to how different schools get hours in....
  
  How many hours a day? How many minutes for each class? How many days a year do you go to school?
  
  I live in the USA and I'm curious as to how it's different in other places. (Cos the USA is dumb and stupid, in my opinion anyways. (Yeah i am not very patriotic at the moment but if you live here you know what I mean :P))
  
  ANYways, so what are your school hours like?

  my school timing is 11A.M-5P.M,every class is of 30 minutes, 1 hour lunch break and your?

  we go from 8:30 A.M.- 3:30 P.M., every class is 47 minutes and we only have a 30 minute lunch break

  yeah....it sucks big time... my friends that actually attend school and aren't home-schooled are always complaining about how by the time they actually get their lunch they have no time to actually at it...for me, i have to make my lunch myself so then i'm stuck having to eat while i do my school work *sighs* i wish i had an hour lunch break too, that would be so much better

  yeah same! we get the chance to go out but its only for like5 minutes. so most people try to finish their lunches.

  the high school doesn't even let students leave for lunch...they have to either bring their lunch of buy it from the school *shakes head*

  I school from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm every weekday, separated by 30 minute sessions. Got 2 breaks, totaling to an hour and a half. On Fridays the breaks are longer though. 8 hours school, 8 hours sleep... wonder what happens to the other 8.

    No. I am a carnivore, I like biproduct stuff too, but none I would call vegatarian or vegan for that matter.

    I seriously think that you should give meat a chance, lamb chops are amazing. ;O)

  7:50-2:45. The classes are 42-43 minutes long, except for AB, which is about 25 minutes. Lunch is somewhere betwwen 15 and 20 minutes. Passing time is 3 minutes, which sucks if you have gym, cuz it's across the street from our actual school.
  We also have weird names for stuff, such as
  mods instead of periods
  AB (Advisor Base) instead of homeroom
  FLEX (Foriegn Language EXploration) instead of one language (French, German, and Spanish all crammed into one semester)
  Exploration of Fine Arts instead of Drama

  we should be there at 7:30 but the whole school schedule starts from 8:00 till 2:10 ....with only one break wich is for half an hour :(.....but i actually got used to it ,so it's okay ^_^
