So, Stella had this idea, I believe....and I fell in love with it!
So, you've all been begging for a roleplay, but I think I like this idea better!
Basically, we will all write as ourselves.
Anyone who wishes to write, may do so.
Here's the idea:
The Young Writer's Group is no longer an internet community, but a real, solid, material island just off the coast of Reality. You will write as yourself, living on this island, with all of the other youngins. Imagine how your life might be. Would it change? Would it still be roughly the same? Who would you click with the most? Write SERIOUSLY. This should be no different from any of our other works, in the sense that it is still a piece of writing, not just a collection of tomfoolery and inside jokes. xD
So, how will this work?
Anyone may post, at any given time, as long as there are at LEAST three posts between you and your PREVIOUS entry.
Write as though the reader knows NOTHING of the YWG. Illustrate your life amid the group clearly.
BE CREATIVE. You may only write from YOUR perspective.
You may communicate with the other youngins, but you may NOT write about them in any way, or add action to them.
You may involve the people of your REAL life, or you may not.
There will be NO strict order or sign up. If you wish to participate, you may do so, at any given time, keeping in mind the first rule.
You will illustrate the island of the YWG as creatively as you wish, without being over the top. We still want this to be good writing, keep in mind. so things like "And then Daria started flying and Luke started speaking in rapid French while Stella jumped off a cliff" are NOT what we're thinking about. xD
You do NOT have to COMMIT to this. If you are feeling like writing about your life on the Youngin's island, DO SO.
It does NOT have to be a flowing story. That sounds very odd, but bear with me!
You will write about YOUR OWN life on the island, and yes, you will be interacting and sharing the island with the other youngins, but there doesn't need to be a steady plot. This can be more of a collection of fantastical diary entries. Basically, a collection of our daydreams about what life would be like on a YWG island.
So, to start!
We NEED ISLAND NAMES.
We need to establish the name of the Island, and also the name of the place that will personify "reality".
Something that isn't too crazy, but that really personifies the spirit of the island, or realm, or whatever.
So, start jotting out some ideas. I tried some latin variations but couldn't find anything I fell in love with. So ideas!
You may start whenever you want! No hurry, no delay. Just write.
You're living on an Island where The Young Writer's Group is a touchable reality. Spin from that!
Head all entries with the CURRENT DATE, and YOUR NAME.
Interact with the other Youngins, build the life we always dreamed of!

I want this to be the sort of thing you can go to whenever you're in the mood to daydream, and just live in that wish that we could all unite in person. When you come home from school and are exhausted with reality, just take refuge on the Island!
